Pros: Huge portion if you’re hungry.

Cons:
- Absolutely loaded with sauce (and the sauce is not good).
- Vegetables are not fresh. My tomato was so soggy that I couldn’t eat it.
- Chicken had no texture. Usually it would be a bit crispy/charred, but was bland.

I literally stumbled across this place on my way home from the airport. I hadn't had lunch and it was 2:30pm, I took a right off Night St, glanced to my right and there it was.
I had a chicken and beef wrap, the meat was thick cut and there was so much flavor from the other ingredients in the wrap. Highly recommended! Please note they only accept cash or debit, no credit cards.

Small place, good food. Only had about 2 tables inside, best for take out. Their chicken plate is really filling. They only accept cash or debit so had to have that prepared

Shawarma cafe delivers a premium home cooked food experience . Everything is made from scratch , including the bread. This brings me to the second point about price.
Normally this level of quality would mean above average price , and while the cost of plates @ 17.99$ and wraps for 14.99$** may seem like alot i believe this competitive and fair given that it is entirely handmade. Wraps are affordable as a regular after work snack/ lunch where as plates may be a better option for take out for dinner at their price points.
The seating is limited due to the small size of the place but coming in around 3-4pm has never felt crowded .
If you want a high quality shawarma experience ( with plenty of other options available on the menu) check this place out via any food delivery app or go in person for the best possible freshness.

tastiest donair in vancouver, you can watch them hand stretching the pita in the back, the beef has the best flavour, all the sauces are homemade, the vegetables are fresh and chunky, the staff are very nice. 11/10

Shawarma Cafe is one of Vancouvers' hidden gems for shawarma. You know a place is good when you keep coming back and order the same dish. This place has been a ritual for me every time I crave shawarma. My go-to order is the mixed chicken and beef wrap. They make their own pita bread, which is unique from most other places.
