Shizenya is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, from their sushi rolls to the warm bowls, everything tasted amazing. What truly made the experience special was the service. The staff are so kind, attentive, and genuinely authentic, they make you feel warmly welcomed from the moment you step in.

We loved the Shizenya all way through. The nice ambiance, very kind and helpfull service and delicious food. Our kids enjoyed the Chicken Gyoza, best dumplings in a long time. Assorted Sashimi was fresh, the Mentaiko Yak i Udon and the Beef Udon Soup were delicious. Price is fair. Highly recommended.

Excellent Japanese in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Seafood was extremely fresh and the vibe was just right; the interior design was stunning. We tried the Sakura blossom roll as suggested by the staff and it definitely did not disappoint. Will definitely return for more creative rolls!

Some of the best sushi I've ever had! Everything was incredibly fresh and high quality and for a fantastic price. I had the Sakura roll and it was phenomenal, and the yuzu soda was so refreshing and had fresh yuzu rind in it! The staff were incredibly friendly and polite and very attentive. The decor is beautiful and high end, and the vibe is very friendly and relaxed. I'm celiac and they have plenty of amazing gluten free options and were very knowledgeable and careful about cross contamination. I noticed they were very accommodating to the table next fo me for the same reason also, bringing out extra utensils and separating the gluten-containing items from shared dishes onto separate plates to avoid cross contamination. Amazing service and food.
