This place has many of my fav teas, but one thing drives me crazy about this place: they won't tell you how much tea you are getting in weight. They do everything in 40 or 80 cup equivalents, whatever someone defines it as for that particular tea. This is fine as long as you tell me how much 40/80 cups weights in a tea in grams, but they won't tell you even though they weigh it out for a refill right in front of you. The sales associate was quite dismissive when I asked her how much it weighed, saying that it was not how it was done. Not keen to shop anywhere that wont tell me how much I'm actually buying.

Decent tea options

Friendly salesperson and helpful. A wide variety of tea at reasonable prices. Lots of nice tea pots and other tea related items. The store is very clean and esthetically pleasing. Finally found a tea with lavender.

This place was not open when I went during store hours. There was no sign or anything.

Great selection of tea. We ended up buying 3kinds of great green tea. However the customer service is not that great. We felt like we are bothering the lady with our questions about the tea and the experience wasn’t pleasant.

Great shop with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I have been spending more time trying to source out good quality tea without any added sugar or chemicals and I feel happy here knowing that work has already been done for me. A mix of very classic style teas along with some more modern blends. They have wonderful flavour profiles and a little goes a long way! I love their selection of tea wares as well, it makes for a wonderful experience in the shop. I have also tried their skincare and its simple, natural and effective. Thank you!

I love the freshness of their tea and the free shipping over $50.

Great tea, perfect for gifting to tea lovers.

The tea is mediocre, and sold in tins labeled “40 cups” instead of the actual weight - a tiny tin will last maybe 10-15 actually cups. There is much better tea in Vancouver.

The girl that was working here was so rude and couldn't care less to help us. She had a "please don't bother me" attitude when my friend and I were inquiring about the teas. We didn't feel welcomed and felt as though we were bothering her, although we were the only ones in the store. Will not be returning again in future only to be made extremely uncomfortable.

I really only buy tea from here, have been doing so for years. Love that it’s locally founded and all organic. Because it’s organic, I was told the lapsang souchong doesn’t leave an acrid back of tongue taste like other brands do. One thing I think would add a lot would be improving the overall in-store experience, ie. if they had staff that were as passionate about, and loved to share info, stories, taste tests, as much as staff at other local tea stores do, rather than just an in-and-out purchasing experience. Would be nice if the smellable samples were self-serve too instead of hidden behind the counter. Because of this, I feel like I don’t fully know their whole line of teas and just keep buying my favourite three types. They were closed at one point near end of day when their Google hours said they were open, so they kindly gave me a little discount for the inconvenience. Thank you for that and for the superb tea! ☺️

Love this store! Their tea is incredible, the Winter Warrior tea is my personal fav but every tea I try is heavenly. The team is always so knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

The best tea in town! Try the smoky lapsang souchong or the earthy pu'ehr. The staff are nice and helpful. I miss the days when they would give you tasters and let you open the tins and smell the teas, but now they're being very safe (Covid). A bit pricy but you get what you pay for.
