I rarely leave reviews, although this experience left me no choice. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Hard to even call it a dining experience as we never received any food. We booked a table for 20 people for a birthday. Upon arrival two of the twenty water glasses were filled, and that was basically the only service we received. We were forced to go to the bar to order drinks. Some of us were even told to return to the table and the server would help them. No one ever came. No food order was taking, no service was provided. It was an awful experience and basically ruined the birthday. We left very disappointed

my husband and i and 2 more guests were there to dine at Silks for Canada day , the cost for a buffet was $47 for extremely poorly cooked and poor quality food. the chicken was so tough it was inedible, the roast potatoes were raw , only good thing was the brisket, ,the choice of dishes was no better than a $25 but the cost was not an issue, we also have never had to put our dirty plates on another table because they were not being cleared by the staff, a very bad experience, a better buffet was expected We have been to Silks before so when the variety of foods were not there we were bitterly dissapointed,

9 ladies from Chilliwack on Sun Aug13,had a great time.Had the best waitress EVER,Sonia,we loved her,efficent ,funny,totally looked after us,she is a keeper,give her a raise !!!!!! .One comment though,AC needs to be upgraded,way too warm in there.

WORST BUFFET EVER!!!! do NOT spend your $30 on this place, go to a restaurant your food will be so much better and so will the service. I have NEVER gone to a restaurant and not tipped but the service here was the worst I have actually ever had. None of the “servers” can answer ANY of your questions without going to ask someone and coming back 20 minutes later. The bar had literally no options other then vodka or rum and coke and the food was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. Worst food I have ever had, it was ALL cold and tasted like it was made 3 days ago and re-microwaved. The entire experience was so bad that i literally went downstairs and bought a hotdog from a food truck because it was actually 100% better then anything at the buffet. -10/10 experience, NEVER GO HERE. Not kid or handicapped friendly.Ps. I also got stuck in the elevator with my boyfriend for about 5 minutes and there other elevator also almost stopped with us in it

Nice staff, live horse racing and amazing views. The food could be better. It’s such a great place but food menu all about deep fried. Only the beef dip was not and it was good with nice salad.

For the price of $34.99 you don't get much selection of food that is the advantage of choosing a buffet, having choices. There are single choice of chicken, beef, pork and fish with few sides and pretty basic salad. Desserts looks like store bought that is just cut up into bite sizes and laid out. With standard 15% tip, total comes to $42 and it's much more advisable to have a nice enjoyable meal else where for $25 around Hastings neighborhood and then come for the race afterwards.As one reviewer has mentioned. Indeed, other reviews seem fake. Be advised.

Pretty old venue. Food is decent. It is a good place to sit and enjoy the race with some simple food and drinks.

Very clean and accessible restaurant. They offer generous meals and for affordable prices. We enjoyed the meals a lot and the waiters were super personal and informative. Recommended.
