The moment you step into Simit Bakery and hear Tarkan playing, it instantly brings back memories of Turkey! The atmosphere is warm and authentic. I was served by Goksu, who was not only super friendly but also incredibly talented; she creates beautiful handcrafted jewelry, simple and lovely pieces with stones (you can even buy them right there at the store.). The Turkish tea was great and baklava had a familiar touch, maybe not exactly the same, but definitely close enough to make you smile. Highly recommend this place for a true taste of Turkey in Vancouver!

Absolutely loved this place!! it instantly took me back to Istanbul.
The young man working here truly embodies the warmth of Turkish hospitality. No need to say the simit was delicious, but special mention goes to the gözleme and the menemen, both were outstanding.
The patio seating is also a lovely touch and makes the experience even better. Highly recommended! ❤️🇹🇷

We ordered a gozleme and sat down at a table to wait for our order. The cafe only had two other tables, it's not busy at lunch. 20 mins goes by and they serve gozleme to the table next to us, a young Asian lady sitting alone already eating. We didn't know if the lady also ordered the gozleme or they gave our lunch away to someone else. We waited another 20 mins before we asked the cashier what's taking our order so long...they confirmed they gave it to the lady by accident. The young Asian lady just ate our lunch...she didn't even tell the staff she didn't order it. Staff offered us tea to compensate but we will never return.
