What a sweet spot! I stopped in craving breakfast food after recognizing the name from distant past jaunts to the main st location. This Slickity Jim’s is the best! Excellent food, friendly and efficient team of people working there and it has some great decor pieces. I had a simplified version of a menu item as I had some food avoidances, and they were happy to oblige. I definitely will visit again, and it’s just a short stroll down from my dealership. Coffee was great. Bacon was a perfect crisp but not too salty or crumbly, eggs were perfectly poached, sausage was delicious and the salsa was fresh and tasty. Yum!

A great spot for brunch. The prices are reasonable and the food is tremendous! It is a small place and very busy on the weekends, but if you can skip in during the week it is well worth it.

Awful service. Mediocre food. The server was incredibly impatient and rude. Got our order wrong twice. Argued with is about the food we wanted because it was going to be hard to split the bill on her system. A thoroughly awful experience, worst brunch I've had in Vancouver. There are many great brunch places, please go elsewhere.

Took a gamble on brunch yesterday and was so happy with all the vegan options. I had the when Holly left Benny-- it was amazing. Portions were smaller but I left full. Prices were awesome, and service was great. It was pleasant to sit outside! I'll be back--honestly probably tomorrow.

Good things can come in small packages. Very good homestyle breakfasts with meat or meatless sausages, all tasty. Has an eclectic interior design and best for 2 or 4 tops unless your early to squeeze in a larger group. Opens at 9 am, short waits by 930 later than that can be a longer line on weekends so it's first come first serve.

A move from the old main location, the new Slickity Jim's offers up yummy and wholesome dishes at a reasonable cost. Portion sizes are huge with plates enough to share for those of smaller appetites and bites to spare for the average adult. Plates have the needed mix for brunch, with staples on the plate and done exceptionally well. Roasted potatoes were delicious and the side become a hotly contested snatch for my table.

The food is pretty good and inexpensive. The service is great, the ambience is very cute and casual. My only criticism is that unfortunately I have a lot of dietary restrictions and they're not very accommodating for substitutions. I do try to ask for substitutions that are equal in value but they usually won't make the change (instead charge for a side of what I asked for and give me the original item as well). I've been here a handful of times and typically end up having to give my friend a good chunk of my food because I can't eat it.
