Fresh oysters for happy hour @ $2.50 a shuck. If you want a price comparison, non shucked oysters from Lobsterman are $1.00 a piece.
Nevertheless a good spot for happy hour.

Food is not good and def not worth the price. There are actually good oyster restaurants in Vancouver for much better prices and with much better service. One staff member was super nice and doing her absolute best even when the place was extremely busy, and food came out very quickly. But overall it was a pretty disappointing experience. I wouldn't go back.

Went for happy hour. Draft beer $6.50. Mussels and fries were superb and at $18 a deal. The mussel juices were exquisite. Also had halibut bites but they were not as exciting. Basically bits of halibut battered and deep fried served with fries and nothing special. They also had a bucket of of whole crab (1.5 lb) boiled I think. $50 which we did not try. They have fresh shucked oysters as per the namesake. Payers pan fried and oysters grilled. Nice patio facing Main st. A bit noisy but then it was noisy inside too.

Amazing experience at Smitty's Oyster House on Main. My second time there and we tried a variety of appies - chili lime prawns, Baja tacos, crab cakes, oysters and everything including the service was excellent. Highly Recommend. oh - and the Smitty's Caesars. THE BEST!

Loud and crowded. No space for us so we left
Was told about this place by a friend. Was told to order the Wolf candy (lamb lollipops), oysters (obviously) and the crab cakes. We ordered all of these and also the chilli lime prawns. Let me tell you, they didn’t disappoint. Also I was told the staff was amazing and right when I walked in the door I could tell what he was talking about. Staff has a great vibe and very personable and friendly. Service was great and I will definitely come back regularly now.
