What s a half sour pickle you ask it's a halfway fermented pickling cucumber. Still green in color, light salty flavored, and crunchy like a cucumber, not sour. If you ever watched your baba make pickles and you were in too much of a hurry to wait for a a full sour fermentation, you know what we're talking about. We could also call them pickles for impatient people.

It's a popular bakery cafe in Vancouver. The cinnamon rolls are especially delicious, fluffy and fragrant. Traditional Jewish bagels and brioche are also popular, and they all have a warm, handmade flavor. The inside of the store has a homely atmosphere, and it has a nostalgic feel to it. It's perfect for enjoying light snacks and sweets with coffee, and it's also the perfect spot for a quick break. It feels like a hidden gem loved by local regulars!

I love this place, and I’ll come again but let’s be honest this place is grim. It’s in dire need of a deep-clean. Anytime I let my eyes rest for too long I notice a new gross pile of grime, every surface in here needs a wipe ?

Great cafe food. Bagels are done right! Potato latkes were a bit overcooked and a little greasy but delicious. The cinnamon buns are excellent. Knishes we had were a bit bland.Busy place, well run, could use a bit of freshening up!
