Ordered Black pepper fried Chicken with rice. Unfortunately we don’t like the sour taste and feedback to waiter. She is very patient to explain us this is the sauce taste, and also helping us to change to another dish if we don’t like. Then we order another Curry Beef Brisket Rice. Hidden gem discovered when I had breakfast after dropping off someone at VGH. As a Hongkonger, I can’t say it is 100% authentic but the chef has corrected some common weakness of HK style restaurants. E.g. the satay beef of a rice noodle I had was instantly cooked with fresh vegetables instead of scooping a precooked beef in a satay sauce. The only downside was that the service felt a bit understaffed, so our food took around 20–35 minutes to arrive at the table. Still, once it came, everything was delicious and worth the wait.
