Food is normal, but what’s funny is that there were few large pieces of eggshell found inside the egg while I was eating , and when I told the waitress about that, the only response I got is “Oh, I’m so sorry about that.” And?? No attempt to give solution at all. Should’ve not given the tips when paying the bills. As a restaurant that features omelettes/egg brunch as your signature dishes, while including egg shells in your dish is such a satire.

Great little place. I got there just before the rush around 1000am. The food is great and staff amazing.

Family run diner with unbeatable food and the best music! You absolutely have to try a shake, they have so many flavours to choose from. I get something different every time and have never been disappointed. You usually have to queue on the weekends but it’s quiet during the week after the lunch rush.

Price vs food quality leaves a bit to be desired. You can pay the same prices at a much fancier place , hashbrowns are unfortunately on par with Bons and served ice cold the last 2 times I stopped in.

The benny special was good but for 21 dollars plus tip on top i would go some where else.

Vibrant, retro style cafe located in Kitsilano open for breakfast and lunch daily. Serving hearty portions of delicious comfort food. The highlight is definitely their milkshakes, with lots of flavors to choose from, like espresso and pumpkin pie. A unique experience, with visually appealing old school diner decor, lively atmosphere, great service, with a vintage vibe.

This was my first visit to Vancouver, and I was genuinely looking forward to the experience. My partner and I enjoyed the food, which was excellent. However, I found the service lacking; our servers seemed to overlook us and were quite dismissive. It wasn't until my partner managed to get the attention of a waitress to take our order that we received any assistance, and even then, the interaction felt somewhat indifferent. As the only people of color in the restaurant, it was disheartening to observe that others seemed to receive more attentive service. I truly want to appreciate this establishment, but I did not feel the same warm welcome that others appeared to enjoy. The food was very good, though.

I was disappointed in my experience here. Got seated in the heated patio during the busy lunch rush hour which was fine.

However, after my table was seated, we received water glasses that were disgustingly stained yellow. I did not dare to drink from it.
After the other tables seated in the patio area had left, staff started pulling up the plastic blinds that blocked out the cold outdoor air. My table hadn't been close to finishing our meal yet. We weren't asked if we would like to have the blinds up and it wasn't even close to last call. It felt like my table was getting smoked out.

Food was edible, bland, and not worth the $20+ per dish. Their milkshakes were the only redeeming factor, but not good enough for me to consider a second chance.

Expensive, below average food.
Terrible dining experience.
Good milkshakes, though.

The vibes alone, everything you'd want from a breakfast diner. Hot chocolate was phenomenal. Name was enticing but stayed for the good music and atmosphere.

Burger was decent. Fries were not great.

There’s no reason a burger and coffee should be over $35 after taxes. Insane.

The food is usually good. Eggs are beautifully cooked, although not hot enough. The service on this occasion was poor. Several young girls/women stood around chatting and didn't seem interested in providing service or a smile.

Tasty but not overly impressed. I got the 4th Avenue Lumberjack but asked for one pancake instead of two. Server was very lovely.
