3 out 4 entres were very good 1 was all right and that is why a 4 rating. Gnocchi was delicious. The meals could have been hotter especially one. The deserts are heavenly.

Experience was generally okay. Caesar salad was tasty but the calzone was disappointing and I would not order it again. Surcharges for substitutions were not explicitly stated prior to receiving the bill.

Delicious gluten free pasta and focaccia bread! Food was a bit pricey for a family but kids pasta was a good value.

If you want to eat a good pizza, it is the right place. We've eaten some superb beef balls also. Service personnel are very kind and friendly.

service was great, server was knowledgeable and friendly and the restaurant was beautiful. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who is gluten-free though as I expected for a 4$ surcharge something a little better than boxed GF penne. I was also surprised that for another $10 surcharge I was only given 3 medium sized prawns. The flourless chocolate cake was delicious though as was the puttanesca sauce for my dish, I just think this place is more suited for those who can enjoy the fresh pasta!

We had an amazing family experience at Sopra Sotto! The food was excellent and the room was energetically filled with a great vibe. What really stood out last night though was the service. Darshan and his team made the evening exceptional with a quality of attention to detail and friendly attentiveness that had myself, my wife and daughters looking so forward to the next time we have the pleasure of dining at Sopra Sotto! Highly recommend Sopra Sotto on the Drive for any type of evening - family, amongst friends, a date night. Thanks so much for a great evening Darshan & Team!

Went here with a couple friends and the best dish was definitely my friend's truffle pasta. The ragu I got was okay. Nothing crazy although they successfully delivered on portion size, so you will leave satiated. 7/10. Caesar salad and focaccia was okay and the olive oil/basalmic dipping was great. Great service. There was a mix up in the kitchen regarding my order and the waitress apologized profusely and promptly solved the issue. Atmosphere is cute, light and airy. Perfect for summer. Although the music is abit loud

Food was amazing and it was a super comfortable good vibe, but the service was honestly very subpar. We had to ask twice for every drink we got, she was quite unknowledgeable about the wines, and there was no effort to make it a good experience. When filling wine she missed and poured some on my jeans, there was no apology or anything, just a “whoops” and handed me a wet towel. The second we paid, she filled herself a beer and sat at the table beside us without any closing greeting or thank you or anything. Very awkward and I am quite accepting and understanding when I get bad service, but this time it was due to pure negligence. Food was seriously amazing though, blew most Vancouver Italian restaurants out of the water!!

My friend visiting from out-of-town was recommended to try this Italian restaurant and told that it was”the best Italian food outside of Italy”. We loved the atmosphere and the service was wonderful but I think the food was good, not amazing. Specifically she was told to try the truffle pasta and she ordered that as well as the tagliatelle (yes, my friend can be wasteful!). I had some of her truffle pasta and it was meh. I did enjoy my gnocchi (Gnocci in Sunday Sugo) and cappuccino. For dessert I stupidly ordered a crème brûlée (WHY did I order a French dessert in an Italian restaurant??)… again, it was good but not great. I should have tried the tiramisu. We loved our waitress and had a fun time but I’m sorry to say that it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Plus, on a personal note, I don’t eat pork and a lot of the dishes had pork so it was a bit limited since I was craving a nice pasta.

Unfortunately, I'm updating my review from a 5 star review to a 3. My experience tonight was pretty underwhelming: no gluten free pasta, no mocktail options, my order was wrong, and the pasta didn't seem cooked enough. I've had amazing experiences here in the past, so I'm sad to see the quality decrease.

Love everyone here. Great pizzas! Wish they had seafood options. Being an Italian restaurant, Italians are huge into fish.
