Extremely disappointing service for such good pizza. We arrived with a hungry child and weren’t offered water or sharing plates at the start. Waited over 40 minutes for a single pizza….a pizza, way too long. The pizza itself was tasty, which makes the poor service even more frustrating. Basic things like water and basic attention were missing. Won’t be returning.

Waitresses are lovely, ambience nice, clean. Enjoyed all of our food except dessert and that was just personal preference - we were excited for a classic tiramisu but it’s chocolate orange flavoured which we are not personal fans of.

Had an early family dinner( elder parent, and University student kids) , so able to take advantage of Happy Hour food as well! Meatballs fantastic as always. The whipped honey ricotta with Olive Tapenaude was amazing. The accompanying soft focaccia was perfect. Between the individual happy hour pizza, Kale salad, Boar Ragu Bolognese, and truly amazing short rib special, everyone was left more than satisfied. We've come here for family outings the last 5 years, and their food quality is amazingly consistent!! Ambience is great and servers are always top notch!
Great pizza and lovely service.

Amazing pasta and ambience. Our server was great and definitely made our night! I think her name was Amy
Took 30 mins to take our order after sitting down and then charged us regular price during happy hour so we got a refund and got recharged THEN still charged us $26 instead of $15 for tartufo pizza

It was Valentine's. Our main dishes didn't come out at the same time. In fact, mine came out more than 20 minutes later! We said we were unhappy about that so they comped one of the mains. Server was a bit flustered and annoyed but overall professional and responsive.

This is one of the best restaurants in mount Pleasant area! Great food, amazing service. Will be back again!!!
I booked a reservation at this restaurant for a special birthday dinner with my friends And unfortunately, was underwhelmed by the experience and service. The hostess sat us at our table, and then a little while later the server told us we would have to move tables for the buyout group event coming in 60 min later. The entire restaurant was empty, yet we were asked to move in the middle of our special dinner. The happy hour menu is deceiving and it does not say that the food portions are not as big as the regular menu items. Service was slow and they poured wine without asking people whether they would like more or not, and ultimately wasted wine that was poured before confirming.
We came back here for the 3rd time exclusively for the carbonara. Our 2nd experience was very rocky and we won’t be coming back again.
Firstly, they’ve changed their hours to close at 9 pm a Tuesday, however, Google didn’t reflect that change. It was a surprise to us, when our server greeted us at 8:15 that they were closing at 9 instead of 10. No big deal, we knew what we wanted to get and didn’t mind eating a bit faster.
Our first course was a cheese plate. It was very underwhelming. 3 cheeses, a lump of some sort of sweet jam, half a torn basil leaf, and 3 thin half slices of bread. An insanely small amount of bread to serve with a cheese plate. Additionally the server just dropped it down and didn’t even tell us what cheeses they were until we asked her (15 minutes later when we saw her again). There was no quality check
Our second course, the carbonara, arrived quite early: halfway through our cheese. There was no room on the table, and we were not even close to ready for it. The server said “the chef thought I fired it when I didn’t” and offered to keep it warm while we finished our appy.
When we had finished with our cheese, and the carbonara came, it was beyond disappointing. The creaminess from the egg yolk and cheese was non existent. The guancale, which used to be thick, juicy and plentiful, was scarce, burnt and tiny. There was no flavour save for butter and noodle. Again, there was no quality check for 15 minutes until we had piled our plates and made it very clear we were not eating.
To add to this, one of the kitchen staff (Dylan) was having a very loud conversation with someone (hard to say if it was a friend of staff or a guest) with lots of profanity. We know all about his second job at the Park theatre on Thursdays. Was just a little jarring to hear given the time and atmosphere.
I asked to speak to the manager, however the manager had left 8:45. The server, to her credit, apologized for the discrepancy with the closing time, and offered us dessert to enhance our experience. When we brought the pasta quality to her attention, her explanation was that the menu had changed recently, and the carbonara was being made closer to a “true carbonara “ with the egg yolk in the sauce. A little baffling to us because either that means they weren’t serving a true carbonara before, or their true carbonara now is just absolute trash. Either way, we didn’t argue. Just asked for our bill. The server kindly removed our food from the bill, leaving the drinks and we settled up and left.
I work in the hospitality industry. I know the steps of service, and the appropriate paths to follow when things aren’t going right. I’m extremely forgiving because I I understand that the kitchen is pushing meals out because there’s 30 minutes left and they want to close. This experience pushed my empathy and understanding.
I believe this is a fault with management. They need to coach their team on how to treat their guests when they’re spending 30+ a plate. Course things correctly, don’t rush your guests, and quality check the food shortly after it hits the table to ensure they’re enjoying the atmosphere and the experience.
We want to enjoy this place, but it feels lazy and careless from the top down.

As recommended by our two friends, we 4 went to this restaurant. we didnt have a pleasant experience here. Firstly the staff was not polite and welcoming. I understand its could be busy for them but we were not assisted for 20 mins. Food was not that good as compare to the price.
We had to go somewhere else as the portion sizes were small. On top of all these, paying gratitude on such service was disappointing for us.

The staff did not notice to us for more then 20 mints also i saw there was a uber or skip driver who is waiting for the delivery and they took 15 mints to clear there order and when driver asked for the good reviews receptionist start ignoring that guy and at last start fight with him. They should be more polite to them as they are also a human being
