Nice french feel. Very good service. They change the menu so the food quality varies, but overall excellent

Brought my wife here for her birthday and, while we weren’t expecting any special treatment, we were at least hoping for a candle on her dessert. Just something small for a picture and a nice memory of the night. I don’t understand why they even ask if it’s a special occasion if they’re not going to acknowledge it.

Food was rich and exquisitely presented. The staff explained every dish and answered all of our questions and made helpful suggestions. The restaurant did get loud when it was full so it was hard to carry on a conversation

We had a great night at St Lawrence. The service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced— no airs of pretension, everyone seemed genuinely kind and attentive and committed to making it a great night. Food was excellent - make sure to come in with an empty stomach so you can enjoy all four courses. Will be back!

It was my first fine dining experience! We had a bar seat! Vivian was our host/ bartender! He was so knowledgeable and told us everything about our dishes and paired the wine perfectly to the main course! He made the experience awesome! 👍

This restaurant lays somewhere between magnificent and incredible. Stacy the bar server took care of me - incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, & funny. The cooks were friendly and approachable. The atmosphere was quaint, charming, & inviting. I think this is a very close second best restaurant I've ever experienced (Proxi - Chicago), followed by Alex Dilling in London.

The food was masterful and well thought-out. The sommelier perfectly paired everything. The textures, the mouthfeel, the flavors, the nose, and the wine pairing were flawless.

Whole heartedly, I implore you to have the escargot followed by the four part chef's menu. The escargot is like a modern take the French classic with the parley garlic butter, but shelled and served in a sublime pastry shell. The warm brioche with whipped fois grois under a maple gel and a terrine was eye opening. The mushroom tart in a Mornay sauce (think pot pie) was warm & comforting every delightful bite with the most perfectly cooked buttery mushrooms in a very thin quiet Mornay letting the mushrooms shine. The beef tartare was rustic & homey with the most jammy egg yolk and a just tart strawberry forward pinot noir. The chicken was amongst the juiciest piece of meat I've ever eaten. And the rice pudding was calm, simple, and entrancing.

100% I will go back next time I visit Vancouver.

This was my second time visiting and we had Stacey as our server. The food was fantastic, the service was immaculate, and I can’t think of anything that could have made our night celebrating my wife’s birthday any better.

Absolutely charming and incredibly delicious! I planned my visit for the Quebec classics menu, and I can’t imagine a better introduction to Quebecois cuisine. Standout dishes included the amuse bouche, which was a foie gras custard topped with a thin layer of caramel that I would like to eat every day for the rest of my life, along with the maple syrup tart, which is one of my favorite desserts I’ve had in Vancouver. (I'm eyeing the cookbook for this recipe alone!) I also really enjoyed the mushroom vol-au-vent and the poulet a la crème – both of which were extremely rich and indulgent. The portions were generous for this kind of cuisine, and the service was warm and gracious throughout the night. If you get the chance, I recommend sitting at the chef’s counter so you can watch the well-oiled kitchen work its magic. Just one note for out-of-towners - the neighborhood is rough, so take a rideshare over public transportation.

Absolute delicious French Canadian cuisine. The meals come in sets, with alcohol and additional appetizers extra. The menu changes every season.

A much anticipated visit to this Michelin starred restaurant was very disappointing. The best part of the evening was the service. We were seated at the bar (ugh) and the restaurant was very noisy. The recorded music was unnecessary, as it was already noisy. The open kitchen was interesting but the sous chef got my first two courses wrong. Most of the food varied between bland to inedible. The fish in pastry was the exception, as it had good texture and flavor. Not worth the $500 cdn. We won't be back.
