Visited in November for lunch. The place was relatively quiet but service was kinda slow.
Ordered the fish and chips which was the special of the day. I found the cod was a quite dry inside and the batter was hard to cut through. I'm guessing the fish wasn't the freshest and/or the over cooked it.
The French onion soup had lots of onions in the bowl but the broth lacked flavor. Also had some gyoza which were a bit middish.

The cheapest happy hour around
Their happy hour menu is quite extensive and their portions are big.
We got the cheddar bacon tots $9.25 which were crispy and addictive
The soy garlic wings $12.75 which were on the smaller size and definitely a bit sweet. I liked the crispness on it. Not very meaty though
Ham and cheese pineapple pizza $12.75 was not very good. I would skip the pizza next time and stick to their appetizers
Overall we spent $57 before tip for 2 people which is pretty good for happy hour. Food quality is meh but I liked the laid back atmosphere. Servers were nice and not pushy

A place for characters…. And a moustache. Best part. Some Brazilian calls that says you are last… or maybe she said last call. Friendly homey. This is a teamwork of characters. Difficult to achieve, but respect

"Do you not understand that tipping is a part of Canadian culture" - St.Regis staff to customers of colour who did not wish to tip waitress because of poor performance. Do better.

Food options are limited after 9pm but it's a great spot to hang out and drink with friends. It's nice that they let you order cocktails that aren't on menu as long as the requests aren't overly complex (and they have the ingredients).
Cost obviously goes up as you order more alcohol to go with your meal.

I recently visited the St. Regis Hotel bar for a casual drink after shopping, and I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service provided. The standout moment came when an elderly gentleman entered the bar, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure his comfort. They greeted him warmly, swiftly assisted him with a cozy seat, and attentively catered to his needs with genuine kindness and respect. It was clear that their care was not just about delivering excellent service but about making him feel truly valued and at home. Witnessing such thoughtful and exceptional service made my own experience memorable. The St. Regis Hotel bar exemplifies hospitality at its finest, setting a standard that’s hard to match.

We absolutely adore this place! It's a unique blend of upscale and dive bar vibes, with fantastic decor and an exceptional staff. The happy hour is a major draw, running until 6 pm with outstanding prices and a impressive selection. The combination of fancy and laid-back elements makes for a truly special experience. We can't get enough of this gem!

Good food, nice environment. Perfect location in downtown. Close to SkyTrain and Parking.
I loved the shrimp appetizer.
They weren't busy, but the waitress forgot about us :/

Rustic hotel style old pub in the heart of Vancouver. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Bartender really good and attentive. Best Cesar I've had so far in Vancouver. Loaded, spicy, and good.
