There’s usually lots of seating available both inside and outside of the store. During dine busy times, drinks take a while to be prepared . I came by on a weekday recently during a 50% promo for handcrafted drink, ordered in the app for pickup which stated 3-6 minutes preparation time. I ended up waiting for 18 minutes which is a bummer and defeats the purpose of the app - I would have ordered 18 minutes before coming in, duh!

Today was the 1st time ever having a bad time at starbucks.. The manager was just horrible, up tight, controlling and she responded with intense energy and attitude. Raising her voice the whole store was startled, yelling across the till at the employees IN FRONT of all the customers. I then expressed to her that she was making me uncomfortable and no longer want to engaged, she kept arguing to me. Super unprofessional. Never ever this kind of experience for starbucks anywhere ever. Still totally confused and shocked.
Also, the exact drink is significantly less tasty than other locations, not made with care and intention for quality standard.
Items are also not ordered or restocked after months.
Sat in once and there were flies around.
I thought it was isolated incident but each time more things would stack up, so thats why I feel compelled to write this review now. Hope the district manager can review.

The place is a pretty basic Starbucks. The drinks are made pretty fast, and they have a maximum occupant load of 100 people.
They have lots of place if you wanna sit down on a tall table, or near the couch.
They gave me free water, one time, but the ground is a bit dirty, and they have flies in the food (check out my two pictures showing this).
Excellent Starbucks location. Located in the quaint and cute kerrisdale neighbourhood. You can always count on excellent service at Starbucks but the Sunday male staff (Johnny?) at this location is exceptional.
I ordered once a couple of breakfast sandwiches (promo for points) and a reward drink and requested a cup of venti cup of ice water and tray when I arrived. The next time I ordered something similar, he had the tray ready with the drinks, a venti cup of water and a sticker for the reward drink. Exactly as I would request on arrival. Apologies my reward drinks are pretty complicated as I use it as a concentrate to add with hot water (hence ask for a sticker for the cup spout than consuming immediately) but it’s always made to the exact customization, with care and attention.
I came by slightly late once to pick up an order as they were closing up and I saw the male staff packing out the patio chairs and friendly chatting with customers. Clearly the perfect people person for the role. Personally I’m an introvert and don’t interact much with staff but always felt the staff member caring, personable, and detail orientated.
The rest of the staff at this location are also excellent like the female Chinese staff with glasses on week days.
Store is always clean and well situated for dine in or take out.

Today, I visited this location and needed to use the restroom. To my surprise, the staff informed me that I had to make a purchase in order to access it. As a regular customer, I find this policy extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Using the restroom should not come with conditions like having to buy something. I've been made aware that this policy comes from the Starbucks CEO, and I believe it's narrow-minded to enforce such rules. Given this experience, I will no longer be visiting this location. This is truly shameful.Even their products are of the lowest quality.
