I visited this Starbucks recently and asked for a cup of tap water. I was surprised when the barista asked if I had placed an order and said they couldn’t give water without one. I’ve been to many Starbucks locations and this is the first time I’ve encountered this policy. I understand each store may have its own rules, but it was an unexpected experience, especially since I only needed water due to wearing braces.

When I visited this store on last Saturday, it was very busy with a lot of people waiting their drinks, but I really appreciated the respectful and attentive service from barista Mitusna.

I come to this Starbucks at least 3 times a week. The person who claimed to be manager, Conroy, tried to block me
from using the washroom (regulars know the code). He was rude and threatened me with expulsion from the store. And you wonder why sales are plunging for the company?Conroy has a false sense of power as google reviews can be a great equalizer. Think twice before spending your hard earned money at this location.

Pretty Bastard

We stopped by after a long walk last Saturday to get a cold drink, my husband uses a wheelchair , not that it’s relevant but perhaps people would be more considerate. They took 5-10 mins although wasn’t even that busy ahd people that came after us got their order first .
When I went to grab my drink, I asked for some water . Server called Natsumi said wasn’t possible unless I got in line again. It made no sense whatsoever, the women was super argumentative and rude. I went and “order” the glass of water, she did everything but not serving me the water. I was standing by the bar and she spill water on me while rinsing some dishes , acting sooo rude, I was perplexed. I asked for the manager ahd was the other useless women, rude as well.
I don’t even like Starbucks, I like small shops , but usually I have good experience at couple Starbucks I like. I never ever had such horrible experience.
Obviously I left without the famous water.
After I wasted another 20-30 minutes contacting Starbucks customer service , they promise to contact me in 24-48 hours. Nothing.
Tried again Wednesday, ahd again, nothing.
We are beyond disappointed . Horrible customer service.

Came in to this location after a boat cruise. Ordered two Coffee Frappacinos. They were very milky and no coffee flavour at all. We complained to your staff and they said that is how it is made.
They said that they could add a shot of coffee to each for an extra charge.
We have had it before and it wasn't like that. Staff should be more accommodating to make the customer happy. That is the reason we don't go to Starbucks anymore. Too commercial!!

This is the slowest Starbucks ever. A single drink order takes over 15 minutes every time. Seems they prioritize mobile orders over in store orders. Or they are understaff.

Super friendly service at a Starbucks location I’ve never been in. Dropped by for my hubby’s bday before walking to the Marinaside. First time I tried mango and dragonfruit iced drink. The staff was nice enough to stay if I don’t like it they will make me something else. I really appreciated that. I ended up loving it. It was refreshing mango unique tartness from dragonfruit like different berry taste and really quenched the thirst of a hot day 30 degrees. Better than standard lemonade. Recommended at half the ice so more drink. I don’t normally do reviews for Starbucks but I’m making an exception because this was unexpected surprise & great service at this cute location.

Judging by the reviews I guess this location is known for its terrible customer service. After placing an order with a cashier I wanted to use the washroom and one of the guys proceeded to tell me “it’s for customers only”, which I didn’t think it was a big deal until other customers asked to use the washroom without being told the same thing. I guess I just looked less like a customer than other guests ? Rude and condescending.

I’ve been to many Starbucks locations, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The staff member who assisted me (she spoke with a Korean accent) was noticeably impatient and dismissive throughout the entire interaction. During waiting for my drink , I also saw her rolled her eyes when turn behind customers. As a loyal customer, I don’t expect to be treated with over-the-top enthusiasm, but I do expect basic courtesy and professionalism. This experience left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I truly hope the management can address this, as it’s not reflective of the standard I’ve come to appreciate from Starbucks.

Honestly, what kind of nonsense policy is this? I came in asking TO BUY just a cup of ice or water and the cashier tells me they can’t sell it because it’s “not in the system” and they can’t give it for free unless I buy something first. Are you serious? Like what if I’m literally about to pass out? What if I need water to take a pill? That’s beyond ridiculous. At a global billion-dollar company. Is this real life?

the employees are really bad, they would not even let you use the bathroom until you by something, when i said its not right, he said these are order for us form above. i dont know how they gonna treat you, I ended up buying the food was not even good
