staff and the cafe are usually very nice and they always greet me and make my drink good but omfg the last time i came there were so many flies!!!?!? i was sitting down trying to get some studying done but i felt like i was being attacked by the bugs 🤢🤢🤢🤢 i felt like i couldnt finish my drink because i swear they were attracted to my coffee and were trying to fly in, i had to leave….

I have been to the Yaletown location in Vancouver (The Hamilton on Mainland St) a few times when there is a gentleman working there who is always incredibly kind, friendly, and goes above what is expected (I couldn't read his name tag without my glasses :( but I think is was something like "Kan" or "Ken"). I saw him today and I ordered a tall pike with a pump of pumpkin spice and some half and half. He made sure that I got exactly the amount of half and half that I wanted, plus gave me a little sprinkle of something on top even though it wasn't with whipped cream or a latte just to add a little something nice. I could tell that he loves his job and interacting with customers, and that makes all the difference in someone's day. He definitely perked up my day even before taking my first sip of coffee. I regret not asking his name for clarity, but I think the people who know him will know who I am talking about. Thanks to him for the brief but pleasant experience!

Ok I am not a Starbucks fan and try to avoid Starbucks as much as possible but every now and then I’ll crave it. I gotta say this particular location honestly leaves me giggling every time I visit for its amazing customer service. The baristas are so friendly and I see how they treat their regulars so lovely but even more impressive is how they treat their unknown customers. Every time I am treated so well especially this dude named Ian that works there, he’s incredibly such a kind soul. The drinks are also so well made here. This location is great, keep up the great work, it does not go unnoticed!

This is a nice location in Yaletown! Nice patio in the summer and has some seating inside as well with electrical plugs if you want to study or do work. But DO NOT GET THE SUMMER SKIES DRINK. Holy crap it’s bad. I rated the Starbucks 5 stars cause the location is still great and they make good regular coffee/drinks, but it’s just this year’s summer drink that sucks. It tastes like artificial blue flavouring and the pearls are kinda plastic ally and not like the bubble tea ones. Just really not good.
