I always have a such a great experience at Starbucks, and thanks to Abbie. She is always kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming, and she always makes my drink perfectly. You can truly tell when someone cares about customers. Thank you Abbie.

Always good, they even remember my name!
I placed my order inside the store at 9:34AM and didn’t receive it until 9:50 AM. I would have waited longer if I didn’t ask for my order. On top of that, the cup wasn’t even filled properly. I’m really disappointed. It feels like in-store customers aren’t being given the same attention as online orders, and that shouldn’t be the case. I hope the store can improve the balance and provide better service and quality for walk-in customers. The size of Spinach Feta Sandwich is smaller than when I bought same at other Starbucks store.

I went to this location, Monday November 17 at around 10:20 ish AM. I was ordering and I got a call from my doctor to see if I’m coming for 10:30 AM appointment. I got a little bit confused and rattled because I was trying to pay my ice coffee venti with extra shot of espresso and a pump of sugar free vanilla.
I was rushing and I gave the cashier cash with 10 cents left and since I was holding my phone and my backpack I put the 10 cents in the tip box and one of the barista, a guy could be 20- 25 years old Asian thin maybe Chinese 5’5 saw I put the 10 cents in. I usually tip, and I was going back in the line to order a pastry (vanilla bean) but I was contemplating if I have enough time. And I saw my drink, I reach for it and ask the same guy that made the coffee and the same guy that saw me put 10 cents on the tip jar, wrote on my cup “mmmmehh” with emoji 😏 if they have the vanilla bean scone and he right away say “noooo we don’t” with a funky face. That’s when I realized and dawned on me what he wrote on my coffee cup. I was thinking if I will say something or more or just go to my appointment. I decided to just leave. I was going to give more tip after I order my vanilla bean scone. But to have that attitude is crazy!
Karma! I always order this drink and it didn’t taste like it had an extra shot of espresso and barely any of the sugar free vanilla syrup. Whoever is the Manager of that location, if you have a video, take a look at it. Not a good look on you all. And so what if I only put 10 cents?! You’ll are getting paid good with benefits!
Easily the worst service of any Starbucks I have ever been to and I have been to many, for many years, I had actually been to this location many times before the renovation, but had not been in the area for quite a while. I have literally been a Starbucks customer since we could only get it when we were in Seattle because there were no Vancouver locations yet. I asked the rude clerk to fill my water bottle. It was very hot outside, they had no line up at all and I was looking at the menu to order. She said no, we don't do that. I thought she had misunderstood me but she was hadn't. she said we only give water with a purchase, again I have been a customer for a very long time and have never been to a location they had such a policy. Honestly it is a little disgusting to have this policy in the first place and also it is hugely insulting to think I just wandered in to get water and not purchase anything. I mean what did she think I was there for? I said I am going to order, but I need some water please. She begrudgingly went and filled the bottle with tepid water, and refused to put ice in until I after I paid for my order. I was not asking for a cup or anything, I had a water bottle. It was so ridiculous and just absolutely gross to me that she would do that and have such a weird and horrible attitude the whole time. I have never been to a Starbucks where they refuse to give water to customers. it honestly makes me not want to go to any Starbucks ever again. Her attitude was so rude and the other staff were no better, just standing there watching her be rude. When I got my order they were just saccharin, and over nice. Too late. No amount of after the fact niceties will make it so you can come back from that. Your location and your staff are an embarrassment to Starbucks where service is usually excellent.

My drink was more than 75% foam. This was $6+ and they still ask for a tip on top of this…disappointing:(

Yikes, this coffee is bad. Even with extra shots the Americano was gutless. Weird tiny assortment of food that tastes like it was 3D printed. Pleasant staff.
I love coming to this Starbucks. It’s usually pretty busy with the hospital next door but the staff here are so professional and provide great, friendly service. Especially Eunice and Denise, they are so personable and genuine and remember my order despite all the people that come here. I look forward to our chats whenever I sneak down for a coffee! Thank you 🥰

Three stars because the staff is very friendly, but like every other Starbucks, they make mobile order after mobile order at the expense of the customers standing right in front of them. Posted this while waiting. Still waiting... it's been 15 minutes for a tea and breakfast sandwich.

this location is not giving free refills at all anymore even when Starbucks just opened up free refills to non members. basically just ripping off hospital employees at this point.

I just came here this morning because I have an appointment at VGH. The cashier this morning was honestly one of the best cashiers at a Starbucks I’ve ever interacted with. Super positive, friendly, talkative. He deserves a promotion. Especially at this location at the hospital, I think it’s even more important your first interaction is as positive as can be. Well done! Also my Bacon Sausage Wrap was good too.

The customer service name Ann she was not nice. I ordered 1 matcha Frap and 1 Danish, on system said orders ready but there was 1 matcha missed. I asked where was my drink, she didn’t answer, came to serve another customer then she asked my name but didn’t check again she served another customer and asked my name again, kept repeating so many times. She couldn’t remember and kept serving other clients over me while I were there asked her firstly. I was upset but I didn’t said anything bad to her. After she gave me the drink she said “u have to be nice to me”. How come she didn’t said sorry to me-customer? She should be nice to customer firstly? U can check the surveillance to see how it was. I’ve been always ordered from here but never experienced that attitude from your customer service.
