Maybe if your hours posted outside of the building say you’re open until 9pm, you should be open until 9pm. Just a suggestion.

Posted hours are 9 PM, but was already closed at 8:30 PM. Very disappointing. No holiday or other reason posted for the early closure.

My brother bought lemonade and it tasted like pee. He then tasted his own pee to confirm. He even saw the barista peeing in the drink to give it more colour. Outrageous!

Staff was nice but they were about to make my drink with 2 week old milk. Good thing I noticed the expiry date.

The staff was silent, did not respond to thank you or Good morning. It was just me placing the order and they were not even nodding or saying anything. The place was empty. Coffee was cold.The snacks were very limited. Staff did not ask if I needed any tray or bags to carry my coffee and Danish. If this is the service level, please lower the cost of your items. Quite a terrible experience, did not expect this at a Starbucks.

Staff was super friendly to white guy who presumably works at UBC, and skipped me to give him his order first while I was standing and waiting for my two drinks. And then did a 180 in terms of attitude. Rude and hostile. I was looking for sugar and picked up what’s on the customer counter, a natural place for ant customer to look for sugar. Barista sternly said you are not allowed to touch that because that’s reserved for more expensive drink orders. The tone made me jump. Did not think I needed their permission to look for sugar at a cafe. Wow the level of customer service and pure hostility towards a customer was terrible especially when they were super friendly and sweet towards a previous customer. It wasn’t crowded bc the school is closed for exams and only a few ppl in line. Based on other comments, seems this is a regular occurrence at this Starbucks. The two women baristas spoke to each other in south Asian language. Be friendlier please, is my advice? Please? :| Worst Starbucks experience ever.

The employee who named Jennie I believe was really mean and somehow racism. I ordered a pink drink and asked for a light ice, and she told me that they don’t do light ice anymore. Then I asked for no ice, she told me it will be charged more if I do no ice!!! I never heard Starbucks has this kind of rules!

The employees here really lack of experience. There is always a long line no matter when you come. I ordered a fruit drink, they put fill the cup with ice!!! And I paid 1.05 extra to get rid of them. Moreover, the employee on Saturday seems have communication problem, you need to repeat 2 to 3 times to make them undersand.

It closed 15min before the closing time stated on google. I went there at 5:45 and the doors were closed. On google says it closes at 6pm.

I really usually don’t mind having to pay the extra here and there because it’s Starbucks, it’s going to be expensive. But specifically with these places on campus, where students come to grab a bite, and no one is earning crazy bank, removing the light ice option, and making a dollar charge for no ice, when usually anywhere else it wouldn’t even cost a penny is a little disappointing. I truly appreciate all the service the baristas here provide, I’m more so disappointed with the actual company, like this is Starbucks, how much more do you need to rip people off, or charge extra for the removal of ice. When will this company stop overcharging??

Very unfriendly and hostile baristas here. Even a single star is too much for this place. I would rather walk a little more and go to the one at the book store. Never care whether you customized the drink or not. They just serve you whatever they want.
