WORST Starbucks Matcha Latte ever in my life. I even added extra scoops to make sure that it would taste strong but I was super disappointed 🙁 this is Green tea latte, not Matcha latte! They don't even have oat milk. They are taking advantage of the location and ripping off college students with terrible business. Don't waste money here.

The workers are so rude and the matcha frap tastes like straight up milk. They also had a bad attitude and didn't even give me a straw until I asked for one. Wouldn’t recommend coming here I would go to the other starbucks. They also gave me the strawberry cake pop when I ordered the chocolate.

As someone who also worked for starbucks RECENTLY, coming to this location has let me down consistently for the last 5 years I have been coming to UBC. Everytime I decide to give them a shot again, I am met with rude staff (and I know they can be rude since on several occasions I have observed them literally enjoying a conversation with white male customers and then doing a whole 180 when I was next up). Their attitude is so offputting whenever I try to add more than 1 modification to my drink (they will say something in Tagalog and as a Filipino, I catch it but just try to shake it off and get by with my order). I don’t expect them to care that deeply about a customer but I consistently am treated like it is my problem for ordering what I want there. Today, my drink was standard but that’s quite literally their job. The bookstore is much nicer in that they make you exactly what you want and they at least try to treat customers fairly, but again, that’s the bare minimum that the LIFE building location still fails to meet even after all these years.

the lady taking my order was really rude to me, she even threw my sandwich on the counter instead of handing it over to me or placing it on the counter gently. this starbucks never has kind staff

Maybe if your hours posted outside of the building say you’re open until 9pm, you should be open until 9pm. Just a suggestion.

Posted hours are 9 PM, but was already closed at 8:30 PM. Very disappointing. No holiday or other reason posted for the early closure.

My brother bought lemonade and it tasted like pee. He then tasted his own pee to confirm. He even saw the barista peeing in the drink to give it more colour. Outrageous!

The staff was silent, did not respond to thank you or Good morning. It was just me placing the order and they were not even nodding or saying anything. The place was empty. Coffee was cold.The snacks were very limited. Staff did not ask if I needed any tray or bags to carry my coffee and Danish. If this is the service level, please lower the cost of your items. Quite a terrible experience, did not expect this at a Starbucks.
