i feel like they always put less cold foam than other places, they don’t take amex (no signs about this anywhere), forgot to put sugar in the matcha i ordered even though i was the only customer there, and always close before their actual closing hours.

the location of this starbucks is really convenient but that’s about it

Worst. The barista give me order to other person, and when I ask her, she said I should watch my order, it’s my fault in a very rude way. How can I know if other people order the same thing😅 Too tired to write the name on it???

I never thought I’d have to write a negative review, especially for Starbucks, but today’s experience left me so upset that I feel compelled to share. Before my class, I decided to treat myself to a sweet drink to brighten my day, but instead, my entire day was ruined by the shockingly poor customer service from the two ladies working there.

Here’s what happened: I ordered a Brown Sugar Cold Foam Cold Brew, but they gave me a cold brew with regular vanilla sweet cream foam instead. Knowing my order, I politely asked if they could add brown sugar syrup to correct it. Instead of calmly addressing my concern, the barista started screaming at me in front of everyone, blaming me for the mistake, and sarcastically yelling, “YOU WANT BROWN SUGAR IN YOUR COLD BREW?!” Her tone was loud, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary, making me feel humiliated as everyone in the store turned to stare.

I was shocked and deeply hurt by how audacious and rude she was. Why does she think it’s okay to treat a customer this way? Mistakes happen, but this level of disrespect is completely unacceptable.

With all the negative reviews this location already has, I don’t understand why management hasn’t addressed these ongoing issues. Is this really the standard Starbucks is okay with?

I expect more from Starbucks. This kind of behavior needs to be addressed immediately.

I've been coming in regularly for quite some time because my classes are close to this location and she recognizes me almost immediately and goes out of her way to explain new recommendations to me. She is fast, efficient, and super friendly. My favorite location on campus!

Out of all the Starbucks at UBC, this location is my favourite. I specifically walk 15 min to get to this Starbucks in between classes because they just get my drink right. Whenever im there, Sabina is so friendly and strikes up a conversation. Highly recommend!

it's a convenient location to hit in between classes, but i've had several bad encounters with staff here. they're honestly rude and looked so annoyed with me when i brought my own cup. the employee acted like my own cup made her job 100x harder and wasn't afraid to show it.

The Asian old barista was so rude when I requested my drink to be easy in ice. She refused to do east on ice for my drink .Starbucks please train your baristas accordingly if you want to gain traffic on your business:
