every single time i go there the drink is disgusting. no matter what i try. refresher? gross. cold brew? terrible. HOT CHOCOLATE?? nasty. everything is extremely watery with no flavour whatsoever and when i ask for it to be remade NICELY they stare at me like i just kicked their dog then are rude about it. starbucks is all about customer satisfaction so let’s work on that??? literally never coming to this location again

i genuinely have no idea what i have to do for the employees to take my order seriously. why would you make my sandwich with the cheese and take it out after, leaving all this suspicious residue???? i literally set my name in the starbucks app to No Cheese on top of adjusting my order, so don't put cheese in my sandwich. you guys are somehow doing worse than the starbucks at life, and the starbucks at life is HORRIBLE. literally the 5th time i've ordered a cheeseless order here. still has cheese. i can't even file a complaint because of your stupid company system design.
i hate you guys.

Go absolutely anywhere else. They managed to make a pumpkin chai latte watery somehow. And after paying for extra toppings for my drink, they did not use oat milk or add any of my inclusions, which would be fine if they listed it as sold out but they were available. Stood in line for 15 minutes to get it remade and was scolded and glared at just to watch them remake it with whole milk and no toppings or inclusions again. 😅

Successfully placed a mobile order via the Starbucks App. Arrived at 5:26pm and door was locked. App indicates 6pm closing. Lady inside counting the register wouldn’t even come to door while I showed her my confirmed order on my phone screen zoomed in. Im not new to Starbucks app. and well aware that it doesn’t accept orders within 30 minutes of closing. If there’s an error, I’m good with that. Basic level of courtesy after seeing my confirmed order, to at least come to the door and try to give an explanation or apology would have been nice. This lady blew me off with a “shoo” hand wave and a shoulder shrug. So no coffee. No explanation. But Starbucks has my $. Good job Starbucks on your app and customer service. It’s unfortunate that the service here is such a miss. This location is so busy and high foot-traffic as it’s next door to the university bookstore, main bus loop, new aquatic and fitness facility and the student resource building.

No seats inside at ubc and food tasted sterile.. mocha tastes like it wasn’t blended properly and no coffee! Unimpressed with downtown as well for same reason! Overpriced sludge

got my order wrong and added whipped cream to it when i specifically asked for none. when i brought this up they js scraped it away with leftover whipped cream still there. the workers were rude and the old lady working there gave me a look like im the one who messed up. why r we hiring rude people who cannot do their job right instead of actual university students who need a job in this economy.

I came in, and the staff was really rude from the start really rushing and yelling at customers. I decided to give them benefit of the doubt of them being stressed and just coming across in a way they don’t mean, but when I got my order taken the lady was quite rude and they up charge everything. I got charged for light ice, and other random up charges that I never got at other Starbucks’s. I ordered a venti iced chai with matcha cold foam, and the total was almost $10. They got mad at me because I was going to scan my rewards code to get stars, but they said they don’t accept it there even though they have a sign that says to get the rewards app to get stars?? They all gave me glares, and wrote « LAZY » on the cup over top of my name. I was very taken aback because I did not do anything rude back to them, so I have no idea why they wrote that. It could have been a mis hearing of my name, but I told them how it’s spelt. I understand that working in customer service can be dreadful, but I worked years in fast food and I am currently a waitress and would NEVER EVER talk to customers and behave like they did, even to the rudest of customers. I would suggest taking a little more time to go to a different store than having such a poor experience here.

Cant agree with other reviews more. Absolutely the rudest staff on campus. The staff got my name wrong and kept me waiting. Usually, the staff in other Starbucks would verify if they get the right names. Here, they wouldn’t bother to care about it. They just wrote down whatever names it might be, and they wrote my name as Savi. When I asked for my order, one of the staff was really unfriendly and didn’t even think anything wrong with her attitude. Don’t come here. The management team should read your reviews.

I ordered a strawberry acai with no ice and 2 scoops of cherry powder. I got charged a dollar for no ice, my drink came with no inclusions and I got chocolate chips instead of cherry powder. Overall disgusting

Ordered a venti drink and they gave me a grande, I told them I ordered a venti and I would be willing to pay the difference but I was refused and the barista yelled at me in front of the other customers in the store, saying how I was wrong and should have just ordered correctly the first time. Absolutely unacceptable behavior, why are they hiring people that are clearly unable to do the basics of their job.
I always go to this starbucks in the morning before work. And the ladies in the morning are so kind! And their london fogs are delicious🫖
Staff are nice except for Laura, she is so rude for no reason…
