With a finger in her nose the lady working last Saturday night was extremely rude insisting and asking for tips. If you charge more if paid with credit card don't expect a huge tip please! Bad energy !!
Dang…you get a lot of food. It’s pretty good hk comfort food. Please note they tack on an extra 3% for credit card use. If managers or owners of Starlight Kitchen can reply and leave me an email I have a better strategy for you.

Ordered a $24 egg swirl shrimp rice noodle and a $24 western set meal. Not impressed that the rice noodles came with only 6 shrimp and the noodles had zero sauce flavor. Set meal was meh, place is just meh. Better to eat at a food court, I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes sometime soon.

This place is always kept very clean! Upon request, they are willing to make sure a dish is vegetarian; I photographed an example. Lunch special (photo from last year) good value for money. The surrounding area can feel a little sketchy, especially after dark, but their genial and friendly service makes up for it!

Huge portion. I like that it is open until late as we arrived at 10pm and there were not many options for restaurants. Service was good as usual of cha chaan ting.

Been here a few times. Food was quite good most of the time (hit and miss), hut on a few occasion, the noodles was quite bland / under seasoned.
Sometimes the food comes really quick, on other days, it can take some time (assuming they sont miss your order, which happened to us before)
But for quick meals, cant go too wrong with this.
Underground parking lot available.

Came in the late evening, resturant was kind of slow. Got the curry beef brisket with rice.
It's accessible witch a decent washroom for a manual wheelchair user. Power wheelchair users might have difficulties

Their food was good though a bit rough around the edges. Their drink, on the other hand, was below average. My daughter ordered pineapple slush and got bunches of big pineapple chunks. My grapefruit tea was actually yuzu flavoured water.

Food isn't bad, service is fine . Just don't understand why it is so hard to ask for a tomatoes egg sandwich. I understand it isn't on the menu , and even we told them we are willing to pay extra for it . If they make it , they will throw in some lettuce and mayo and charge you even more . Really want to support them more .

Big dishes of food, nicely cooked, very good taste, considerate service. Impressive. A few friends even considerate them as their home kitchens. Good job. Starlight. We are glad that we can have nice and well deserved local business here in Vancouver.
