Hands down the best Greek food in Vancouver! Every bite bursts with authentic flavour, and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve been transported to the Mediterranean. The service was incredible — friendly and attentive — and the fact that the food took time to bake just shows how fresh and carefully crafted everything is. Worth every minute.

I was disappointed with my visit. The food didn’t taste fresh, the quality was low, and the service felt unwelcoming. Many guests were speaking very loudly, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.

The tastiest, softest roast lamb and big portions comes with in, I love everything in it, the salad, the stew vegetables, roast potatoes and the pita bread craving satisfied! Thank you Stephos at Davie!

Just had a very rude call for takeouts, asked about food portions to receive nasty attitude from one of the waitresses. Food is/ has been good but won’t return anymore because of service.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. It used to be amazing because it was cheap and huge portions for good food. The food was never the greatest Greek food but it was still very good in its own way.

Now the prices have risen considerably AND the food is no longer that good. Also the portions aren’t as huge. I ordered the large chicken souvlaki. I guess the chickens they use are anorexic because there wasn’t much chicken on each skewer. No big juicy tender pieces here.

The tzatziki was way worse than I remember. Is it really made with yogurt??? It seems like they are diluting it with something else. It doesn’t have a creamy yogurt texture, it seems like they are mixing something with it to make it go further. I’m not even sure if it’s healthy to eat. It reminds me more of the garlic sauce they use at shawarma places, I think they are made of oil and corn starch. Hmmm…

Anyways, I won’t be going back.

Chicken arrived with a rancid smell of rot. Meat was not cooked properly and light pink in the middle. The chicken once cut open had some sort of black growth inside. Terrible food quality.

Nostalgia. Still as good as I remember it. I grew up coming to stephos it was always my favorite. The food is still the same. We came with 2 babies 1 and 2 years old. Our waitress was Ana(don’t remember exact name) she was very accommodating and allowed for a perfect experience. Highly recommend it.
