The pasties looked so appealing that I wanted to try them all, but turned out they were just okay. Though, their take out box is pretty cute. I got a matcha cheesecake and a pistachio tart.

The cheesecake had a dense texture, which I prefer. The matcha flavor didn't really stand out though. I could taste the slight bitterness of matcha (which is good), but the scent and richness of matcha didn't stand out.

The pistachio tart was quite disappointing. The crust was completely soggy. The filling was like liquid and dripped everywhere when I ate it. Not the texture I was hoping for in a tart.

We made a stop at Stuart's Bakery on Granville Island to pick up some pasties. The cheese cake Danish was definitely a highlight and made the trip worthwhile. The food surpassed our expectations and the service was efficient, especially considering the crowd at the market.

This place gets crowded and if no one monitors the line, it can get confusing. Ordered a strawberry cheesecake and a cookie. Both were just dine nothing special. Staff who took my order kept getting confused at to which cookie I wanted.?!?.

Paid for 4 cakes and only got 3. They missed the carrot cake completely.

Just went on my banking app and confirmed that I did in fact pay for 4 cakes. Very disappointed

went here two weekends in a row!! haha just happened to happen, but I tried the eclare the first time & second I had the chocolate mouse and both were really good! also shared a chocolate almond crossiant with my mom & it was sooooo good! highly recommend this bakery!

although, it is pricey I will say.. very worth the price in my opinion. I will be going back here with my family next time we make it out to that part of the city.

a very wide variety of pastries and sweets to choose from, you will have a hard time deciding on what to try!

I had a pretty enjoyable pistachio kouign-amann. Was full from the other vendors but this one caught my attention and didn’t disappoint.

Stuart’s Bakery on Granville Island is a must find! It is located inside the public market. The bakery is filled with amazing selection of sweet treats / baked goods. Everything is always freshly baked and all so good; such a treat especially for people with a sweet tooth like me.
Be prepared to line up especially on the weekends but it usually goes by pretty quick. The staff are always friendly and helpful with recommendations and will gladly answer all your questions. Just a tip, try and browse through the selections first before lining up (if there’s a line up). This will help expedite things when ordering and paying.

My personal favourite is the Apple caramel cheesecake, New York cheesecake, crème brûlée and a few of their croissants. Their cheesecakes are creamy but not over powering. Their croissants are light, buttery and just the kind of crunch.
Whether you’re craving for treats or for a special occasion, be sure to try a few baked goods when you’re at Granville island public market. It’s also nice to enjoy a cup of coffee with it and enjoy it outside.

Service was quick. The black forest cupcake was very nice however the cannoli had a very pink cherry filling which is absolutely not what I would expect of one.

The owner gave our two little girls Christmas cookies for Christmas. We bought the most adorable gingerbread houses for Christmas and the Christmas cookies were absolutely delicious. What a nice start to the Christmas holidays!

Good service. Phenomenal looking pastries. Unfortunately, the pastries we tried were very mediocre in taste and quality.

We ordered a carrot cake, small one to go, the flavor was ok but pretty basic, they sell a lot of tasty options, its inside granville island market and you can also order cales for special occasions, the granola is delicious, this place is a good option for something sweet, but the price is a bit high.
