I've come here quite a few times, and it is consistently one of my favourite places in Vancouver. The food is always phenomenal and--while I definitely have favourites ( I love the Yuzu Kara-Kara Age bowl) -- I always feel compelled to try something new here, because every item on their menu has that signature feel to it.The service is amazing (though sometimes they definitely seem busy), the staff are always incredibly friendly and all seem to enjoy working there. The atmosphere is super energetic in the restaurant.Dietary restrictions: They asked about allergies before ordering, and there appears to be a wide variety of options on the menu. If you are pescatarian there are more than enough options to choose from!
Nice staff. Rec the tako wasabi and beef tongue bibimbap. Very smooth mojito.

Staff didn’t pay attention to requests I stated in the reservation… However the dinner was great, we enjoyed every item we tried. We stated in our reservation in multiple places that we were celebrating a birthday. Many other tables around us received a birthday dessert. We were anticipating ours at some point but it never came. Near the end I asked staff about it and they did apologize and told us to tell them next time, but they didn’t try to make up for it or correct things! They just wanted us to leave as we already paid. I am not sure what else I could have done! Despite the excellent dinner we left feeling pretty bummed out ?

Excellent flavors with staff that are friendly and very attentive. Unfortunately, unless you have a reservation it's very challenging to get a table regardless of the day of the week, so I wouldn't recommend to even bother trying, which ultimately is why I didn't give 5 stars as that personally turns me off.I enjoyed the Tenderloin Sizzling Steak, The Black Pork Rib, Chicken Karaage, and Cucumber O chan. I wouldn't recommend the Corn Kakiage, it's okay but didn't stand out like the others.

Delicious food and portions and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the nicer places in Vancouver for fusion style Asian crusine, selection of drinks and atmosphere to celebrate birthdays and anniversarys. (because they sing) service is great but be mindful of time limit of stay because of long line ups. Book ahead of time. Parking in the area might be a battle, do research ahead of time as well.
The food is amazing, with consistent quality across the menu. However, the portions are small, and you might spend around $50-$60 per person to feel full—if you eat a lot, then even more. The restaurant is open until 11 pm, making it a perfect place to hang out with friends late into the night. It seems to be a popular spot for birthday celebrations, so it can get quite noisy with celebrations happening several times throughout the evening.
