⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely amazing meal at Sula Indian Restaurant on Commercial Drive this evening! The food was gorgeous — rich, flavourful, and beautifully spiced. The presentation was next-level, and the atmosphere fun, lively, and full of great energy. A special thank you to the team for helping make my niece's 13th birthday extra special by surprising her with a lovely dessert at the end. Such a thoughtful touch! If you're looking for incredible Indian food on The Drive, I can't recommend Sula enough. Thank you again for a truly memorable evening! 🌿🍛🎉

Wonderful meal, attentive service. Good value. Do try the street food version of the pakora. It was fantastic.

Misha was an excellent and a friendly server. The decor was warm and inviting. We enjoyed the ambiance and the service. The appetizers was good. The main dishes were excellent.

It was my wife's birthday, when we entered it wasn't very welcoming and we have been seated near the bar. The table has very less space to even jump inside to get seated and nobody helped us out either to move the table. We ordered Guava pani puri which took 25 min to come and also ordered the mains which was just chicken tikka masala and garlic that took 45 min. I requested over open table to do something special of possible for my wife's birthday but nothing was done to make her special. Food was average, service was pathetic. I won't recommend anyone for Sula.

Sula Indian Restaurant is absolutely incredible—everything from the food to the service to the ambiance makes it a standout. You can tell the owner, chefs and servers put so much heart into what they do, and it really shines through in every dish.

My favorite is the Dahi Puri—crispy shells filled with spiced potatoes and chickpeas, topped with cool yogurt, tangy chutneys, and a sprinkle of spice. It’s glorious, refreshing, and simply divine.

I also love the Shahi Paneer with its velvety, rich sauce, and the Vada Pav, which tastes just like the street food classic done perfectly. Absolutely amazing desserts too. Honestly, everything I’ve ordered here has been a hit.

On top of the food, the service is just as memorable. Our hostess Doral was so kind and attentive, making the experience feel extra special. You can really tell the staff love working here and that the culture is wonderful. Thank you & Shukriya, Doral and team!

I ate at Sula a month ago, and it was so good that I actually flew back to Vancouver just to eat here again (and to see a friend!). That’s how much I love this place!

Best Indian I’ve ever had!! I’m a well travelled man who loves good Indian food. I consider myself a critic. The food was so flavoursome, and the vibes were amazing. I loved the modern Indian style interior, the music was great, and the food - I wish I could experience it weekly! (Unfortunately I don’t live nearby). I will be returning many times when I visit for sure. Great prices, great service. My favourite was the Saag Aloo. Channa Masala was also great. Veggie Samosa was an absolute must. I believe you could close your eyes and randomly pick anything off of the vegan menu and have an incredible time. If you don’t enjoy this place, then it’s a you problem 😆

Nice and one of the best Indian cuisine in Vancouver. Just a walk from our Airbnb, and they seated us quickly. Nice venue, and loved the Chaats plate sampler.... The Samosas were fresh and divine. HERPAY helped us and she was sweet and patient in describing the dishes. 30 min wait for Tandoori meals but worth it. Chicken Marsala was perfect. Try the onion and cilantro Naan, but ask for sauce as it was a little dry. Would return to try the garlic Naan and Biryani. Only drawback was there was a huge party with unruly kids running around. Tough on the owners but it did effect our dinner.

Didn't have to wait long. Service was great. Friendly staff. And food was top notch. It's no wonder there's so many locations. This is my favorite Indian food restaurant
