Sula Indian Restaurant, Commercial Drive

We went to this restaurant as a family, and unfortunately both of my children got sick after eating there. Sadly, I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

The staff was super nice. I had made a mistake with my reservation and we arrived with a baby. They were really accommodating which we really appreciated. The food is always delicious

Impressive selection of food and our server helped us discover a few new items. We ordered some apps and 4 entrees and had way too much food. Naan was great

Excellent Wait staff made the experience 5 star. . Good food. Portobello mushroom curry good but little too sweet, chicken curry was good.

Vikram our server was excellent. Prior to us placing our order, at our request, he described each course offering and inquired as to the pungency level we wanted. He checked with us during the meal and followed up after our dinner. He had, incidentally, waited on us about a year ago. The food and the presentation of each course was excellent. We enjoyed the different flavours and hits to the palate from the various spices. Congrats to the kitchen!

Excellent food as usual. The server was lovely. The service is often very sketchy so it was a very pleasant surprise that it was great.

Had dinner during Dine Out, Jan 2026. Made reservation for 7:00 for a table of 5 but had to wait about 20 mins for a table to become available as restaurant was very busy. Food luckily came out quite quickly and service was good despite it being a full house. Food was great value, we barely finished our appetizers and the mains were mostly taken home to be eaten another day. Would recommend to a visit.

We just loved our dine-out experience from the service, the choice of deco (and I mean everything, they select everything and I mean everything carefully and with taste...even the glass of water...) to the food, everything was perfect! We sometimes order or eat there and they never disapointed!

The service and food were excellent and consistent with previous dining experiences at Sula on Commercial. Highly recommend!

The service was very good and there wasn't much delay. The restaurant has utilized maximum capacity and the team was managing a full house on a rainy Sunday evening.

Great night out for our group of 6. Ordered a variety of appies and mains. Would definitely recommend: Onion Bhajia, the Fish Malabari, and the Tandoori Prawns and Peppers. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant.

This was our first visit to Sula, and we will definitely be back! We enjoyed a variety of dishes for our group of 7 including 3 teenagers. Friendly and very good service also.

This is a great restaurant to meet friends you haven't seen for a long time, and you want the chance to catch up. The friendly, excellent and unobtrusive service, the varied menu, the comfortable chairs and surroundings, the lengthy menu with something for everyone, the ability to meet anyone's special dietary needs, all helped to make our reunion at Sula a very enjoyable experience.

Harpreet was our server and she was great!! It was a birthday lunch and we received a complimentary dessert which was an awesome surprise.
