Sula Indian Restaurant, Davie Street

We went to Sula Davie street yesterday. Service staff wasn’t attentive and bizy chatting with each other or using their phones. Took almost 10-15 minutes just to come to our table and take the order. And every time we had to look for servers to refill the water or clear the empty plates. For food, We ordered samosa pinwheels those were really good. Tandoori paneer and mushrooms were bland. Saag palak/palak paneer was the worst i ever had,Even though we ordered spicy but it has weird sweet taste. Serving plates were dirty with sticky notes.

Sula was a lovely experience, fantastic food even if it was a bit spicy for us 😅. Rohan F was a fantastic server and really made our night!

Loved our experience here. Had the butter chiken, cheese garlic naan and rice pudding. Everything was flavorful! The service is friendly, Ash in special, and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Stopped in for happy hour, 2 chicken tacos $12. They were good, but not worth $6 per taco

I had the butter chicken here, but it was way too salty and I couldn’t finish it.
The reviews from others were so good that I had high expectations, so it was pretty disappointing.

Had such a great time at Sula Restaurant last night! The food was absolutely delicious — everything we ordered was spot on. Our server Sahil was super friendly and took great care of us. Also awesome to see my friend Swapnil working there — he always brings such great vibes! The atmosphere was cozy and the service was top-notch. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

One of my favourite Indian restaurant in Vancouver,Authentic Indian food with modern twist with top notch service.Special thanks to our server Anmol Brar to suggesting a perfect food and make our experience wonderful,she also offered complimentary dessert with candle.
Will be definitely back soon.

The staff is really polite, charming, more so Is Anmol. She helped me choose my food with her recommendations. I am quite new to Vancouver and trying to explore the food scene in Canada, In US I used to hardly have Indian food but here it taste so much better. I am looking forward to visit their other restaurants.

Went here for the mango afternoon tea.. everything was excellent! From the food, the service, decor.. the wait staff was very attentive, and the dishes were creative, great presentation and soooo tasty! Everyone had an amazing time and we're looking forward to going back 😀
