We are visiting from the states. We found this restaurant via Google search, we are so happy we did!!! The ambience was great, staff was friendly, and the spices were perfect. Would recommend stopping here if you are visiting or even if you are a local looking for a new spot to check out.

Came at happy hour and found they have a great small bites menu, the vegetable pakora is very tasty. Wait staff is attentive and quick. Nice atmosphere and a welcoming vibe.

Probably the best Indian meal that I had in Vancouver. I had the lamb Rogan Josh which was very good and possibly the best lamb I've ever had. The server was very friendly. Only drawback is rice wasn't included with the curry.

Sula is my go to Indian food in Vancouver. Everytime I go, the food is delicious and service is great. There is a heated enclosed patio but I like to sit indide beside the fireplace when its chilly outside. Highly recommend the ragda samosa chat and butter chicken. First time trying the lamb pasanda and it was delicious!

We discovered Sula recently in February 2024 and dined at the Main Street location. We ordered saag paneer, chicken tikka, rice and naan and everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely a favorite with local residents and reservations are recommended.

This restaurant is amazing when it comes to interior. But the food quality is poor and tasteless. The food is undercooked. There are no flavors in any of the dishes I ordered. Even the breads were not done good. Soya chaap was soggy and stale. Achari Murg had undercooked curry. You could taste the raw spices. And the balls of kofta were not done properly. I went here because of the vibe only. We all have bad stomach after having food here. Service is okay and the wait here is generally 45 min.
Amazing all around! Delicious food and can't wait to go back! Not only did the curries have amazing flavour, we also enjoyed how there was way more fresh vegetables in them. The paneer spinach naan was also unreal!

The DINE-OUT menus provided good choices. Appetizers - BEETROOT KEBABS was a perfect fresh start. CHICKEN LOLIPOPS was deep-fried to the right degree. The unfolding of the drumstick meat to form a lolipop shape generated fine crispiness. Entrees - CHARMINAR CHICKEN and SPICY RARA GHOST were both tasty in its own unique ways. They were perfect company of the rice and naan options provided. We all loved the coconut rice, and onion-cilantro naan. The rich diversity of vegetable, herbs, spices, and sauces; as well as the food colours, presentations, dinnerwares, warm and ethnic decor ... made us felt like a feast than a simple lunch. Last of all, the central location of Sula on Main gave us good convenience to go home by public transit.

I had the Vancouver Dine Out 3 course meal here and it was fabulous! The beetroot nugget apps, the chicken and rice main course and cake dessert were all so flavorful! The staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great, with lots of pretty plants and cool lighting!

Dined Jan 30 during Vancouver Diner Out. For an Indian restaurant, the food was not the traditional Vancouver fare. The menu was very well selected, and the other person that I was with shows different things than I did so that we could share. All the food was incredibly tasty, well presented, and the service was excellent. Hard to do on a busy weekday night!
