Been a decade since eating at this restaurant... Awesome food, but, disorganized in their seating even for these high holidays.. what never expected the usual Lunar New Year family gatherings? Thankfully the food was why we came ... Enjoy!

Extremely slow service, dishes arrived to the table cold. Much thanks for ruining our celebration - I'll never eat here again.

Went for Dim Sum on a Sunday morning. We had gone for around 10:30-11 am, which was perfect timing for getting a table for 3 people. By the time we left the front was packed 50-60 deep of people waiting for tables.
We ordered a pleasant meal of many items (too many according to our waiter.. which I don’t appreciate the comments about the quantity of food I choose to order).
The standard Dim Sum items are all very good and tasty. Each item had a distinct flavour profile and no issues.
Would definitely recommend going.

One star for the mango pudding: shaped like a corn (why?) and with a starchy, under-mixed texture. I also didn’t like that the restaurant blocks the window to create a separate room, making people sitting outside of the windowed room feel claustrophobic, not good feng shui. But, the service, barbeque duck, chicken feet, and har gow deserve five stars!
Food is above average. However, staff is nice to regular customers only. Prepare to wait for a while to have a server. No free dessert even it’s very common for Chinese restaurants. No thank you after we paid. Don’t think we will go again as there are plenty of places offering good food service.

Top quality Cantonese dumplings. Mostly menu ordering but a couple of carts, too.

Our friends are regulars here, we had special Vietnamese coffee served to us everytime for lunch. Head waiters, and servers remember us, came to say hello.
Their special $89 set has roasted pork nickle with 5 choices of Dimsum, and another $89 set menu promotion. These 2 choices are great deal, enough for 4-6 people. See my attached pictures for details.

Delicious dimsum! I also liked they had spacious underground parking.

I highly recommend it here! The food is great and service was good too. I think bringing more people as a group would be beneficial for anyone wanting to try out more dishes overall.
The only thing we didn't like was the tip function, trying to force us to tip more than the usual amount even though we were only three people.

Recommended. Food is great and service is fast. Portion sizes are pretty good too - awesome for a big group so you can try many things. We had to wait a bit, but by the time you skim through the menu and decide what you want, your table could be ready. Go for it!

Just finished eating at Sun Sui Wah located in Vancouver, Canada. The food was decent, however the service was atrocious. Many requests were ignored along with being rushed to finish our meal.
At the end we tipped 10% on a $400 bill. The lady running the spot asked me if we weren’t satisfied trying to force us into an additional tip. After telling her that the service was decent she said 20% tip was custom. We ended up walking away but I’d beware if you are thinking of eating at this establishment. Especially with their poor service.

Shrinkflation at its finest, egg roll for scale
Unbelievable. Waited for 1 hour , just three dishes actually ! Crazy! Almost starved to die in the restaurant.

they seated all tables at once so service was very slow at opening time. we waited 1.5 hours for steamed barbecue pork buns just for them to never show up so we ended up cancelling them. meanwhile, the table beside us was getting their food in a timely manner. an unfortunate experience and will likely not be coming back.
