We had an average experience dining here. I felt that the chef was impersonal and made/distributed each dish without any dialogue or description. He did not talk at all, other than quickly saying what the dish was as he placed it in front of you (ie. “bluefin tuna” -that’s it). The guests sitting beside us were asking us what the dish was because he was rushing on to serving the next person. They do provide a QR code that lists the dishes of the service. But relying on that...
Chef may be one of the best our city has to offer. We enjoyed his last spot but the new space is even more significant and memorable. The new renovated space feels like a stage. Dinner with your fellow guests will start quiet and conversation picks up later in the evening. Front of house is perfect as she always is. Drinks are reasonably priced. Hopefully the new Robson location will bring more travellers and locals to experience this team's work.
Visited from Toronto to celebrate our anniversary. Service was beyond spectacular and was a gerat experience. So glad we were able to dine at this establishment and would definately recommend it for any omakase lover.
