Currently visiting Vancouver and we decided on sushi by Yuji because of the reviews. It did not disappoint!! Fresh sushi, great service, yummy plum wine and a really good atmosphere. We will definitely be back next we are in Vancouver!

The waitress in good English helped us with getting a reservation and was very pleasant. Had a good feeling already when she was talking to the chef in Japanese and going back and forth with us in English. Felt authentic. We only got sushi and sashimi - it is really good. There is only one chef, I think it’s Yuji and he makes all the sushi and sashimi. The nigiri onakase is pricy but is good, all good fish, no fillers. But actually my favorite of the night was the blue fin negitoro roll that came part of the omakase. So delicious. The wasabi looks like it’s hand carved from a real wasabi root and the ginger it comes with is homemade. I wish the miso soup was more homemade but I understand that it is a small operation…I hope they stay in business long because I am planning on coming back more often! I had a positive experience here.
