A wonderful sushi spot with amazing flavors. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves good sushi.

Visited late on a random Wednesday night (Jan 7) and Eli, my server, was still so kind. Big thanks to her!!! I ordered a bunch of vegetarian dishes, and all were tasty. I was astounded with how the mango in their rolls were ripe and sweet, even outside its growing season; in most other places they are either too tart or flavourless. As a Filipino-Canadian guy, this matter is close to my heart, apparently.

This place is fantastic and deserves to be way busier. The new menu is really good and the service is always great. Prices are super reasonable and the Blue Fin Tuna Oshi is one of the best we have had in Vancouver (yes better than the overpriced sushi places) highly recommend checking them out.

The restaurant had a soft opening in late September 2025, and I think they have a new chef. Everything was so delicious and fresh. They have a great selection of unique rolls, and the sashimi was fresh (salmon, sockeye, tuna belly, etc.). The nigiri was also fantastic: the unagi and ikura were especially good. To me, these two are always a good sign of quality, and they were excellent here. The chef sent out a lot of free extras, like miso soup and tempura shrimp. The rolls were presented beautifully on nice plates, fusion style.

Me and my colleague ordered takeout from here today and they forgot to put miso soup in our order. They also stapled a pack of soy sauce in the bag which made it spill all over everything and when she had called to let them know, they completely didn’t regard any of the issues at all. Food is good, but sort of disappointed with the service.
Edit 2025: Tried this place again and there were multiple sharp bones in my tuna roll. I alerted staff and they gave me 10% off but I still feel like that’s a really dangerous thing especially if a kid had eaten it.
I struggled for a while whether I should post on here, but finally decided to do so because I really want the owner of this restaurant to see this. I have visited this Japanese restaurant for 4 times within this month because I was working nearby and it's the only restaurant that's reasonably priced and has a good menu. The food was good, usually with nice presentation. However the service provided was really weird. The first time I walked in, the staffs were sleeping. Yes, more than one were. I was confused was it closed, but it's not. And for all of my visits, they were never attentive. They never walk around the restaurant to see who's ready to order. They never check how's my food. I always have to walk to the other side of the restaurant to ask for the bill/if I need anything. I really do not want to tip in this situation because basically no service is provided. I hope the restaurant owner can provide some staff training.

I was really expecting better from the other reviews left but this place is very mediocre. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special and there are so many other sushi places around that will serve better quality for similar prices.
The service here was the worst part of the experience. I think the waitress forgot one of the items I ordered and the food came out very slowly one order at a time which left people feeling hesitant to eat while others had nothing.
The waitress never came back to refill water or check on us and I had to follow up on my second order which *conveniently* came out a moment later. We also paid a long time to pay and got ignored by her when we tried to wave her down.
I legitimately don't know why this place has such a high rating.
