I ordered the deluxe combo and California rolls on uber eats. The nigris all tasted the same... Very bland.. The California roll was also bland. The samurai roll tasted unique due to the mint leaf otherwise the scallop was bland.. There are better sushi spots in Vancouver..

My favourite sushi in the area! Staff are friendly, food is ready pretty quick, and great for dine in or takeout. Big fan of the spider roll and spicy combo

Good sushi combos and sushi rolls. Ordered a samurai combo and it was very fresh tasting. It was spicy and the rolls were very consistent and nice. Very good quality sushi in Vancouver and Kaido is a go to spot for sure.

Consistently really good sushi - I've been here a number of times and I've always had a great experience. Not the best sushi in town in my opinion, but I find myself going back - so it's proof that it's still really good!! I enjoy that unlike other sushi spots, you'll pretty much always get a seat here, no matter when you show up. I will definitely be back!

I ate there a month ago. I can't remember what I had--my family ordered everything while I was finding parking--but the food was truly outstanding, the prices were great, and the staff was lovely. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Vancouver.

Went for an early dinner ordered salmon sashimi, California roll, negetori roll with miso soup. Super fast service and the cuts of fish are very fresh and thick, loved it. I recommend going here!

I got grilled saba (mackerel) and vegetable roll. They were both delicious. Mackerel was well cooked. I liked the veggie selection in the vegetable roll. I just didnât like that they were a bit large which made it hard to eat.
Staff tried to be helpful as much as they could when I asked questions.
I love that their menu has clear indications on which items are gluten free. Which is why I chose to have my lunch here.
The interior atmosphere and tables were nice. I didnât have any problems with this place until a large group of loud teenagers came in, which is not the fault of the restaurant đ.

Located in the heart of east broadway, restaurant is clean and organise, friendly staff to take my order, waiting time is within 10 minutes. The portion of sushi also slightly bigger than other sushi restaurant, ingredients is very fresh of course.

If youâre looking for terrible service and rude waitresses this place is for you, zero attention to the customer and you have to beg for them to service you

Good experience at Sushi Kaido. Inexpensive rolls and really fresh food; atmosphere feels ordinary, and the staff was a little bit too rushed, almost unkind (to us and to everyone at the store). Good place for a quick bite or, better yet, to takeaway some good Japanese food.
