first time order food from them from.uber , don't think will do that again. the batter on the tempura is soggy, the tamago is too sweet , the sushi rice is pretty bland, the chirashi is more like a poke bowl with everything being chopped

Ordered takeout from here on an app and this was fast but they forgot half our order - everything vegetarian. We called the restaurant to fix the problem and it took over an hour for them to deliver the rest (personally, off the app) so one of our party who is vegetarian had to go without dinner. We first placed an order around 7pm and the forgotten food did not arrive till after 9.

Ordered takeout. Would never order again. Sashimi pieces are massive I had to use a knife to cut them into smaller pieces to eat.

2nd time here and I just had lunch with my friends. We all ordered different items and the service and food was really good. The staff were so nice and made sure our glasses were full of water. The server was really nice! We hope to come back soon!❤️

No idea why is this place ranked high. I now just want to go home and wash the burning sense in my mouth.I went this evening because of the review. They let me waited for 20 mins while there were empty tables, just because I'm along. Then, it took another 10 mins to have someone come to take my order, and another 10-15 mins to serve my food - sashimi and nigiri. I had my first bite after 40 mins walking into the place, and it was not packed. The food was ordinary and overpriced- just like many places in mount pleasant, so not particularly bad.But I am having some allergic reaction now which is very rare considering I only ate fish and rice, like I always do in a Japanese place.Typically, I am allergy to chemicals adding to foods, like preservatives, colouring, and flavouring chemicals. I really don't see them in sashimi or rice.So #EatAtYourOwnRiskOh, btw, they charge you one dollar additional PER PIECE if you want to change a different type of fish, even for a cheaper one.Honestly, foods is so so but not worse than a food court. However, my allergic reaction tells me to stay away from them.

Ordered takeout. I thought I had my favourite local sushi restaurant already, I’ve been living in Vancouver for 5 years. But this might have to take the prize! The rolls are big and all so delicious. Am definitely going to dine in next time to confirm that this wasn’t a fluke cuz then my whole world will be upside down.
