Seems like a mom and pop shop. The menu isn't huge but has a decent selection. Got the agedashi tofu, the tekka maki, the sockeye salmon maki, and a piece of unagi nagiri. My wife got the deluxe California roll and the dynamite roll. The fish was all good, although some of the rolls did fall apart a bit while eating them. The tofu was a bit on the blander side but had excellent texture.
Seems like they got a lot of repeat business as they knew a number of the people who came in for takeaway orders.
The prices were quite reasonable.
I would recommend if you want a weeknight sushi run.

Terrible experience and left the place hungry. At first, I ordered an ikura don and miso soup. The ikura was soggy, shriveled, and unfresh. I sent the dish back and asked to switch to salmon oshi sushi. See image. It has smoked salmon on top, a lemon slice, and in the middle is a slice of pickled ginger. I ate 1 piece, tastes horrible, and got the cheque. I told the owner/manager that this was nothing like what I had expected for salmon oshi sushi, the owner asked if I was Japanese, I said no, and they said that this is how they do it in Japan. I left the place confused. Never coming back again.

Lady of the house is a blessed woman! I love to sit in that window table. One of the best tables in the city. Felt so at ease there. Calm. Tekka maki was very good. Toro was ok. Tamago delicious. Thank you will come again.

I ordered a katsu don with house special sauce for pick-up and it was the BEST. I had it after a while since I got it but the katsu was still so crispy and the pork was so juicy and thick. And the house special sauce was sooooo good. Probably the best meal I’ve ever had, so worth it. The owner lady is also so sweet and nice. Definitely recommend 100/10!!
