The place is small and that is good since it is not saturated with people, the service is very good, the people are very friendly, the food was incredible, I went with some Japanese friends and they loved it, one of them mentioned that it was authentic Japanese food. It is an excellent restaurant.

One of the few places in Vancouver with “fried style” sushi. Definitely an interesting experience. The crispy potato shavings combined with the sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. Sashimi platter was good .

Fantastic sushi and sashimi, generous bites of very high quality. Extraordinary nice and attentive staff. At peak times, one may need to wait some, but it is very well worth it. The location is central, but it comes with lots of traffic just outside the door.

Really good food, but customer service needs to improve miles. Servers are usually lost, no communication and they tend to forget orders. I watched the Uber eats guy wait for 30 min.If you have time and are a patient person, go for it! Presentation and taste are great.

Great food, eyes were definitely bigger than our bellies. The only downside was tight seating, but we only had to wait maybe 5 minutes to get in so that was great.

I adore the food at this place, though I've noticed occasional inconsistencies. For instance, the size of the sashimi pieces varies, and sometimes they include spinach as an extra treat, while other times they omit it. The most disappointing experience was when I ordered salmon sashimi for pickup via Uber Eats but received salmon oishi sushi instead (in photo). Although still delicious, I found the salmon oishi sushi less filling than expected, as salmon sashimi would have provided more protein. I had to venture out in the rain to buy a protein shake, which was quite inconvenient. Nonetheless, the staff is friendly, and I still rate the restaurant 4 stars because the food is generally delightful and reasonably priced. It's just unfortunate that the order mix-up left me wanting more protein post-workout. If it weren't for that one-time mix-up in orders that left me hungry and the inconsistency in portion sizes, I would happily give this place a 5-star rating.
Good food, fun atmosphere. Would recommend the bento boxes.

Great spot along Davie! The atmosphere at dinner is nice for a low key date spot because it’s a bit darker with candle light type lighting. And they have a great take out deal during the day!

My favourite place to go for the best sashimi once a friend had shown it to me. It’s always busy at lunch so make sure you reserve a table.
