The theatrics of this Omakase is not a gimmick, the sushi here is very good. Perfect place to come for a special occasion or if you love sushi and want to experience something unique and memorable.
This is another Michelin-starred restaurant in Vancouver, with three locations across Canada. Overall, my impression of this restaurant is that it offers a comprehensive dining experience. The meal begins with all the courses being introduced at once, and a black curtain covering the inside of the U-shaped counter. To start, they chant a Shingon Buddhist sutra, setting a unique tone for the experience.

For each sushi, the chefs showed the fish it is made from.
All dishes were amazing. I particularly enjoyed uni sushi, sabe sushi, and hotate chawanmushi.
The staff was kind and very attentive.
I would definitely visit again.
Dietary restrictions: They changed a few dishes to accomodate my shellfish allergy.
