We just had the best experience with our server Jacob. He was intentional, genuinely interested in our lives, gracious and had great recommendations throughout our ordering process. We would return just to visit with him again.

Sad to say I was disappointed. I've been to Tacofino in Tofino but this didn't hold up. Food came out cold, the nachos on special weren't good either. Service was pleasant and the atmosphere was decent. Just a shame that the food really brought it down.

Placed an order on Uber, they forgot parts of my meal. I sent them an email and they haven’t responded. Unprofessional and clearly don’t care about their customers. Paid $26 for an appetizer and was missing key elements of it, super disappointed. I get that mistakes happen but not replying or responding after the fact shows they simply don’t care.

Very busy location, also very hard to find parking. Took me 10mins! Was having a meeting here since i really enjoy the other Tacofino locations. Super tasty yet healthier than most dining establishments out there. Street parking is $2/hr. Be prepared to park 2-3 blocks away. Good thing it was sunny today!

I recently placed a pickup order through DoorDash at this Tacofino location, and unfortunately, my experience left me feeling deeply uncomfortable. When I arrived, I noticed a clear difference in how I was treated compared to another customer — a white woman — who was greeted warmly and engaged with politely.
In contrast, when I tried to show my phone to confirm my order, I was initially ignored. Once the staff member — who had curly hair and a nose piercing — acknowledged me, he didn’t make eye contact or say a single word. He simply handed me the bag without any interaction. It was subtle, but the difference in treatment was undeniable.
I truly hope this isn’t a regular occurrence here. Everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect and friendliness, regardless of who they are. Small gestures go a long way, and so does the lack of them.
Terrible Mexican food. No corn tacos or tortilla. Everything contains wheat flour and tastes bland. Should not have tacos in the restaurant name as they don’t even sell Mexican style tacos! Also the tortilla soup has a very odd taste and did not seem to contain tomatoes or chicken. Tasted like canned squash soup

$40 for 2 burritos we couldn’t even eat at the restaurant. We had to leave to eat the burritos as those ones were part of their take out menu but we couldn’t eat them inside and had to drive back and now they are cold. On top of that I have had many tacofino burritos as we are from the island and this was the smallest and worst one we have ever had. We will never be back.

The Lemongrass Chicken Burrito (previously the Grilled Chicken Burrito?) has been my go-to take out for a few years now. It’s been consistently good, perfect almost every time.
The one I had today? 15/10!! It was amazing, it was incredible. “Complements to the Chef” good that I am leaving a review after 50+ burritos.

Food is always amazing. Casual, laid back atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and always seem to also be very funny. You can’t go wrong with any of the tacos. The birria quesadilla is AMAZING.
