The fish tacos are very delicious and some of the best I ever had. Spence was great and we loved his great service and tasty food
Got the 2x fish tacos plus Tofino ale on a happy hour deal, and was very pleased! Nice fresh crispy tacos and good beer. Nice enough outdoor seating but a bit close to the road.

Lemon grass chicken taco was my favorite! Friendly staff, not too busy when I went.

I came here on a Thursday night around 6:00pm. It wasn't super busy initially but it did ramp up. The food and drinks here are always good. I will say though that the service was so bad. It was actually terrible. Our server was so missing in action we could not make eye contact for the life of us to order drinks. I love this place but it's no longer on top of my list because of service.

Love the food at this place. Good service too.
I guess I was expecting the traditional tacofino menu. It was different and the vegetarian burrito was fine, but not delicious like their super vegetarian burrito with tempura yams.

The food is good but the service is lacking, and the staff attitude needs significant improvement.

As someone who comes here regularly—at least once a week—I’ve reached the point where I feel compelled to leave a review. The food remains excellent, no doubt. But the service has noticeably declined over time, and today was the final straw.
Menu adaptations are inconsistent and seem entirely dependent on the server’s willingness, which already makes things frustrating. But today, despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was unacceptably poor. My server was inattentive and overwhelmed—understandable, considering he was juggling what looked like four roles (server, runner, bartender, and host). But that just highlights a bigger issue: this place has become disorganized, not understaffed. I could clearly see at least three other servers, and the indoor seating area was nearly empty during lunch hours.
At one point, I had to get up and ask another server (a woman) for help while mine was busy hosting a group. Her response was unnecessarily rude—no apology, just a cold “you should be asking your server,” despite me explaining he was unavailable. I genuinely wasn’t sure if she would even bring what I asked for. When she did, she got my drink wrong, and her attitude only got worse when I politely corrected her. No acknowledgment, just clear irritation.
My food arrived with no cutlery, no sauces, and zero follow-up. Overall a very stressful experience. What should’ve been a relaxing lunch break made me so uncomfortable that I couldn't even finish my meal.
This wasn’t the first time I’ve had bad service here, but it was the first time I’ve ever felt justified in not tipping. I say this not just as a regular customer, but as someone who has worked in the industry and understands what good service looks like. Very unfortunate.

Great food BUT you can only order a crispy chicken burrito to go and NOT sit in. Whose bright idea was that?!

The service started off well, but unfortunately declined throughout our visit. While most of the staff seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive to our attempts to get their attention, there was just only one server who was helpful and attentive. Our assigned waiter only checked on our table once during the entire meal, and despite raising our hands multiple times and holding them up for extended periods, we were consistently ignored by passing servers. We found ourselves having to actively seek out staff for basic needs like water refills because the food was salty. I understand that busy periods can be challenging for restaurants, but the lack of attention to customers was disappointing and detracted from our dining experience.

Very uncomfortable experience today. One of the restaurant staff was extremely dismissive and made us feel like we were bothering her just by asking for help. It felt like she didn’t want to be there, and we were forcing. It really affected the atmosphere and made us feel unwelcome. Training staff to make guests feel comfortable and valued is so important—communication and attitude make all the difference.
