The fish tacos are very delicious and some of the best I ever had. Spence was great and we loved his great service and tasty food

I’ve always loved Tacofino, but this experience at the Yaletown location was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Bowl (usually I go for the burrito) because my girlfriend was in the mood for it, and honestly, I don’t even know where to start.
The bowl was tiny, probably the saddest bowl I’ve ever seen. It had only about five small pieces of chicken that tasted old and reheated, barely any rice or cabbage, and the guacamole was less than a mini scoop. The overall taste was completely off.
Everything about this dish felt wrong, and for the price, it’s just not acceptable. I used to really enjoy Tacofino, but after this, I’m not sure I’ll be coming back.

Below average, bland Mexican food served in a very cute place with very hip servers. The housemade chips are far too thick, and tacos served in bizarre flour tortillas. The meat was well seasoned but everything else was distinctly unremarkable.

I usually love Tacofino and visit for burritos at least once or twice a month at Yaletown, Kits, and sometimes Ocho. Don’t know what happened today but I got a Super Veg and it tasted awful, I had to throw it out :( the battered yam had a foul taste like it was rotten, batter was soft instead of crispy, and everything was mushed together inside so I couldn’t even separate things to eat some of it. Very disappointed!

I find their burrito to be very oily (the chicken one), and the chicken bites are also very oily. It was very filling I couldn’t finish the burrito. It was mid, but if I come back I’ll try the tacos.

Came for happy hour and got the chicken bites and tater tots. Both were extremely bland. Chicken bites were overly greasy and weren't tossed in a sauce or anything.
Tater tots were in some weird cheese sauce that was flavourless.
Happy hour was only a couple bucks off of regular prices.
Patio is kind of small and the seating is uncomfortable.
Excellent tacos, excellent sangria. Warm and engaging front of house team. We had grilled chicken tacos, fish tacos, tuna tacos, and wait for it…a yam taco upon thoughtful recommendation. Shoutout to the yam taco! Totally stole the show (but they were all delicious.)

The pork gringa was delicious, but was $8 for one very small taco. Like 3 bites small. Wish they were more clear on how many tacos come in an order as I would have ordered something else.

Although I know these tacos have some kind of fusion aspect to them, they are delicious. My go to is the lemon grass chicken. The pieces of chicken are big and not over cooked. The sourness from pickled carrots and radish adds another layer of flavour to the taco. The spicy mayo too is great on top. I also love their take home bake nachos. Great for a family dinner and super easy to bake
