Being able to take a food truck concept and turn it into a sit down restaurant is challenging, but Tacofino has absolutely knocked it out of the park! There is a super laid back vibe to the space, and partnered with extremely friendly and attentive staff, Tacofino is truly one of Vancouvers best spots to eat. If I had to recommend just one thing (because truly there isn’t a wrong choice!) I would have to go for the grilled chicken burrito! The food here has always blown me away, from the flavour and tenderness of the meat, to the crispness and brightness of the veggies, every bite is incredible!

We normally visit every November (missed last year) so we’re surprised at the location change. While the new location is fine, it lost the vibe from the previous. We preferred being served versus ordering at the counter.
The tacos were awesome as usual.
The major complaint has to do with the washroom. It was dirty and the writing on the walls was not complimentary to the restaurant and IMHO ships be painted over and patrons discouraged from writing on the walls.

We got the crispy chicken burrito, it was too spicy to eat. We also tried the fish, which was kind of bland. The kids’ meal from the Tacofino truck was cool, but they forgot the cookie. Telling a kid they didn’t get a cookie when they were expecting one is not a good experience. Also, the verde sauce I paid extra for was oddly gelatinous, not appetizing.
Love going here for a quick bite. Very fast service and it won't break your budget.

Don't mark yourself open on Ubereats if you don't accept order when you open at 11am. I was doing a group order for my large team and was forced to manually enter everyone's order at the other location which is taking order. Either change your opening hours or don't both being on Ubereats

I ordered a miso carnitas burrito bowl from here. I have had the burrito before but today I opted for the bowl option. The size was absolutely PATHETIC. So small. Not worth what was paid for it. The bowl is over $18 before tax. There was no substitute for wrap as I would have expected. So I'm the same price for the bowl, for less than what you get with the burrito. The taste was good but for the price and size I would never recommend to anyone again. Other people ordered burrito bowls at the same time and it wasn't as light as mine. Do better Tacofino.
