This was such a wild ride of terrible food AND customer service.I ordered my food and the person who took my order went and sat on a crate by the door to the back kitchen on his phone. Another person made my burrito. When she finished the burrito she called it out.The guy on his phone then walked to the sink and proceeded to wash his hands…. With no soap. Just a quick rinse and paper towel. I don’t understand why the burrito maker couldn’t put it on my tray? Instead I had to wait for this guy to rinse his hands and to get my burrito. Gross. Why waste my time if you’re just going to disregard basic hygiene anyways.When he handed me the tray I pointed out that the burrito was smaller than usual. Taco Time is my favourite comfort food. I come once a week as a treat. I know what the burritos should look like. This was a baby burrito. Tiny. Nothing. He pushed back telling me that was a normal regular sized burrito. I pushed back, he told me again, I gave up.Well I took a bite and was stoked to see I in fact was just served a tortilla and lettuce with a wiff of beans and a hint of rice. Picture attached!This isn’t the first time this location has wronged me. In the last 6 months quality has dropped dramatically. It’s almost laughable what I’ve gotten during some of my visits. The people making to food don’t care AT ALL.So I wanted to say something. I went back and asked them for a manager’s contact info. The woman who made my burrito pulled me aside and said she could make a new burrito.I explained that I ate the terrible burrito. I didn’t want another one. I wanted to know the best way I could speak to a manager. I told her I would prefer to send my feedback internally so they can maintain their standards and give guidance.She refused. She refused to give me any info and she just kept repeating “I’ll make you a new burrito.”Insane. Unhinged. I’ve worked in customer service my entire life and I’ve never just repeated some bizarre and useless solution that the customer clearly doesnt want AND I was already refused a new burrito when I pointed out how small it was to the man who doesn’t know how to wash his hands. If she wanted to prove she could do it right she failed the first time.This spot used to rule and now it sucks and it’s so frustrating my only option was to write a review. I high key want this location to be my spot again, but apparently they don’t care about customers.

I visited the Pacific Center location on Taco Tuesday and was disappointed with the amount of ground beef in the $2 taco offer. The beef barely filled the bottom of the taco shell. As well ordered a combo with Mexi Fries and a drink. The Mexi Fries were cold. The only bright spot was the two hot sauce servings were pretty good, free and a good portion size. The communications with the front counter staff was difficult with the challenge of a language barrier to understand my order. Needless to say I am not happy with this, as Taco Time seemed to have dropped the ball on what was once an enjoyable dining experience for a reasonable price.

TLDR; DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!I chose taco time for lunch because I collect points through the app. My partner was ahead of me and also collected points through the app with his transaction. I was the next person in line and the cashier told me to pay first before collecting my points for my $13 meal. I showed the cashier my rewards card before ordering, and immediately after paying. But she said I won't get my points this time. She said I have to pay an extra 0.25 bag fee for a dine in order, where I won't get the bag, just to get my points. I asked her to refund me the money and recharge me for the order but this time put in my points. She refused saying that it would mess up her till. I told her the transaction would be fine as she is charging me again. I explained that I just want my points. For me, this is quite a loss of points because the meal price is $13. She just wanted to charge me a bag fee over and over and told me she can't give me my points because she processed the transaction already. I told her she did it for my partner but not for me even after I presented the card before and after paying. She said it happens lots. I think this employee is incompetent in her job and needs to be retrained. After arguing with her for 8 minutes, she took my phone to the other till and then told me my card is invalid/inactive. I told her are you sure you typed in my numbers correctly because my card has points on it from my last transaction so that's impossible also it was on the app. There's no way. This girl straight up refused to give me my points even though it was totally her fault! So now my food is cold and I'm angry with my service. WORST LOCATION EVER!!!! This will be the last time I go to this location and if this girl is working again, I will choose a different food option for lunch. Either retrain your employees better, get working equipment, or don't have it where you have to pay before you get points. This is unfair to the customer!! PLEASE HOLD YOUR EMPLOYEES ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS!

Was happy that empanadas have returned. Food is tasty although mexi fries are over priced and not hot enough.
I had a very poor customer service experience at this location today. The cashier helped the person in front of me, then she and two other staff members started chatting and just ignored me. She glanced at me once and as I started to say hello, she turned away and started talking with her colleagues again. I finally got her attention and started telling her my order and she turned away AGAIN and ignored me and started chatting. She finally turned around and rudely asked me to repeat my order. When I attempted to pay, she asked if I had a smaller bill and I said no and she got annoyed with me and refused to speak to me after that -- no telling me my change, no thank you, no telling me where my order would come up. Having worked in food service for years, I don't understand how people get away with not even acknowledging customers these days. Stranger still, the manager was there and didn't stop the conversation to have her help a customer, which I thought was just basic knowledge.

I go to Taco Time at the Pacific Centre mall weekly and the staff are always fast, friendly, professional and efficient. I went there tonight near closing time and I was starving after a long day at work and even though they were preparing to shut down for the night, they went the extra mile to make the awesome fresh tacos and piping hot Mexi fries (tater tots - my fave) for me. They were so good. Tacos are only $2 each on Taco Tuesday which is a great deal and they’re delicious too. I also enjoy the classic beef burrito and combo on other evenings. It’s definitely affordable, healthy fast food. It’s my favourite eatery in the food court. I wanna thank the staff for their great customer service and a job well done. I think they deserve a raise and commendation for their hard work. This eatery is very popular and I see a lot of customers but the staff serve each client quickly so the wait time is minimal. I also get to practice my Spanish when time permits lol ?
