I love everything. The pricing is great, drinks taste good, and in terms of atmosphere the place is unlike any bar or cafe I’ve ever seen, serving seemingly as not only a bar but as an art gallery for the owner as well. I love most of the pieces in here, and the ones I don’t like add to the unique experience of this establishment.
Service was quick and quiet which I appreciated as I preferred to chat with my partner.
I did not buy any food when I visited but the drinks perfectly satisfied me. The food options seemed to have a good variety of pub food as well as some pastas. I can’t speak to the food quality yet.
My new favourite choice for drinks.

I love the interior! Feels like a 90s cafe. Really cheap drinks and quick bites! You walk past it everyday, take a look inside before a night out!

This place has a bit of European local pub flair which I really like.
The Burger and beer special is so delicious - well spiced grilled burger, seared on the outside, juicy inside. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese.
The accompanying salad had fresh leafy greens and a zesty balsamic vinaigrette. Rather than fries, cold salad pasta, tender, complimented the salad.
I look forward to another visit.

I had a cherry cheesecake for $6 and a chamomile tea for $3 ?.
In the evening, candles are lit on the tables, and the dim lighting in the restaurant creates a very calming atmosphere.
It’s a place I really like because whether I’m here with friends for drinks or just relaxing alone, I always feel comfortable.
There’s also a group seating area on the second floor, and I heard you can make a phone reservation, so I’d love to use it when I want to come with a larger group :)

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen dort und ich kann die negativen Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Der Herr vom Service / hinter der Theke war freundlich (ja, eher zurückhaltend, aber besser so, als zu aufdringlich), das Essen war hervorragend (wie von Mama selbst gemacht ?) und die Preise sehr moderat. Von uns uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!!!

It was great to talk to the server who speaks Japanese! I think it's hard to find this kind of place, which has classic pub ambiance and low-priced good foods in downtown, Vancouver. It's a pub so we will try some cold beer next time. Focaccia grilled chicken sandwich with some salad $9 Latte $4 Chocolate moose cake $6 I don't think there is a place downtown where you can get lunch for less than $10. It's a normal sandwich that you would make at home, but considering the price and quantity, it's more than enough. The cake is sweet and rich, typical of overseas cakes, and is apparently made in-house. The tip options are 12% and up, and the prices are so low that I get worried.
Such a hole in the wall spot! I randomly went in once and now I go whenever I need a cheap meal. Such a central location, surprisingly cheap prices and the food tastes homemade. Makes you feel good about supporting a small business too!
