We traveled for 40 minutes to test this concept and I honestly expected much more. The tamales are small and have no variety, the flavor is not bad but nothing special either. We tried the mango water, which I expected to be natural but it is from a sachet, but what undoubtedly disappointed me was the birria, a very small plate for the price and with little meat that still felt somewhat hard (I would recommend using one that has a little fat so it doesn't feel so dry). The service was not bad but the girl is very shy to be in front of the restaurant. I liked that it looks like a small Mexican restaurant and I like the paint scheme of the exterior.

What a great little place with vibrant decor and friendly staff. The Cafe de olla was delish. We also ordered the huevos divorciado and the pizole soup. I found the soup a bit of a small portion but both dishes were very tasty. I bought some blackberry tamales to go and had them later that day. They were ???

Honestly I had higher expectations from this place, the portion of food they give is very very small, compared to the price, we expected more, I went with my boyfriend because he was craving birria and literally the super small plate they only gave us 3 tortillas and 3 super microscopic pieces of meat… how sad

My boyfriend and I came a week ago and ordered 2 Brunch, which included 1 "mexican bread", 1 "café de roca" and the main dish. However, the bread felt very greasy (buñuelo and churro) leaving a bad taste. Everything else was fine, except in the Guajolotongo, the green tamale hardly had any pork, it was very little :(My boyfriend and I came 1 week ago and ordered 2 Brunch, which included 1 bread, 1 Café de pot and the main dish, but the bread felt super greasy (buñuelo and churro) and as if it had already been there for several days. , left a bad taste in the mouth.The rest was fine, except that also at Guajolotongo, the (green) tamale almost didn't come with pork, it was very little :(

The guajolotongo is delicious, and the cafe de olla, perfectly spiced.
Their Horchata beverage is remarkable ? as a Mexican, I really loved it. I tried their "huajolota" and the chilaquiles were tasty. I got also a "mole" tamal and this one was a little bit disappointing but overall their tamales were good!

Ordered from this place for the first time on uber eats. The Birria Ramen which came with only one spoon of noddles. Tacos we ordered came without all the toppings. And the “quesadilla” was so bad we couldn’t even eat it. Don’t waste your money on this place.
