I ordered take out from their online system. It was straightforward and I got a discount, which was great. The food was okay. Good flavour, and a good spice level. But there was barely any meat in the dishes, it was all sauce. The take out containers were filled to the bring, but with only 6 pieces of chicken, and the rest sauce. The meat was also very tough in one of our dishes. I probably won't go again, there are just much better places in Vancouver.

This is a small, no frills type of place that's been around for a long time. I think that speaks volumes about the quality of food, and at good value. There is always a fair amount of various dishes available and written up on the chalk board, my fiend and I have tried to try a lot of different dishes over the years but everyine has a favorite already. There is only one level of spicy but this is go to spicy comfort food, 5☆! I had a chana masala and dal makhani, your spicy veggie option 👍

I have always appreciated the food here and the owner’s genuine hospitality. But the staff’s behaviour was disappointing — strange looks, unwelcoming energy, and a general lack of warmth. I tolerated it this time for the food, but it definitely left a mark on the overall experience.
