We had a Celebration of Life in the event room upstairs.
When we came to check the venue out they were very accommodating . Details were all worked out to our satisfaction.
On our day, I can't say enough about the staff. Everything was ready and they were very efficient, polite and friendly.
The food was fantastic.
All in all, I would highly recommend this venue for any kind of get together you may be planning.

Quick service, great food and generous portions, nice ambient though tends to be a bit loud depending on crowd.

The dinner was good, but it was a little cold when served. We asked for it to be reheated, which they did, but when the dish came back, the portion had changed. Originally, there were 4 pieces of turkey, but we were only given 3 pieces after reheating.
Over all was good

The food was not bad for having so many things on the menu, but nothing really stood out. Our waiter got us the wrong drinks. Then the truffle waffle fries also came out without any of the truffle smell so he got us another one but it was still the same so I guess it was just it way it is.

Good was good portions were good. We went for out 28th anniversary breakfast and they comped our meals! Can't complain about that generosity. We will return in the future for a dinner for sure.

The food was ok for pub food but there are other Tap and Barrel location where the food is better. We had the chicken Korma. The taste was good but there was almost no chicken and the naan bread was really greasy.
Our server was really friendly and efficient.

I booked a table to celebrate my birthday with my friends. My friends arrived on time but had to wait almost 20 minutes, even though the table was reserved. Several other large groups arrived and were seated before us. I had booked well in advance, but our table wasn't ready at the time we chose. The acoustics in the area where we were seated were poor. It was hard for people to hear each other, and there was also noise from the TV. During the two hours we were there, the waitresses came to our table very few times. I love Tap and Barrel, but this experience was disappointing. Basic things like refilling our water glasses happened very infrequently because the waitresses rarely checked it. In other words, we paid an 18% tip for a service that was worse than average.

I've been to this location a few times now, and had many good experiences and service but this time was different. We got seated at 1:45 PM, but we did not see a server until I looked around several times 2:07pm- which is just way too long. No drink orders and no checking in. The food was good, and then when the bill came, I got overcharged, which was easily rectified. I was just not impressed with the service this time.

Had 2 business dinners at T&B with about 100 attendees. Food and drinks were amazing! all our guests loved it. Atmosphere was great and patio provided the perfect area to relax and mingle.

Highlights - T&B was VERY accommodating and flexible to last-minute and occasionally unconventional requests (for example: helped us store crates and boxes overnight, and arranging the tables to display collaterals). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Coordinator was super responsive and organized.

Highly recommend if you are looking to book a business dinner for 100-130 people!! 5 stars!!

The pumpkin pie was delicious, large but two people can eat it. The Humbolt Squid was also great.

I came on Friday, ordered the burger and was quite disappointed. First off, the burger had no flavor whatsoever. Secondly, it was a very low quality patty. You could tell that it was not a homemade burger and most likely a frozen puck burger. In the U.S., Mexico or Brazil, you always get a real handmade burger. Why do Canadians accept such low quality? The service was fantastic. Our waiter was an Australian guy who was very attentive and kind. He gave the birthday boy donuts. The atmosphere is also amazing. The biggest disappointment was the burger. I feel that at that price you could serve your customers a real 100% beef handmade patty.

The mac and cheese was excellent.

Great place, excellent service, very nice atmosphere. Everyone found what they wanted on the menu. Not our first time and definitely not the last.
