We had a memorial birthday celebration on January 28th at the Olympic Village Tap and Barrel, where the entire team were incredibly attentive to our needs. Our server, Sophie, was so helpful and kind and I can say from experience that her high level of service is rare these days. Thanks to everyone for helping us to make it a special evening.

Our server was very friendly and helpful when asked questions about the menu. He was very pleasant to deal with. The view of the water and city was awesome! It was a bit noisy, even in the upstairs of the restaurant. Food was very good and servings were ample.
What a good place. What would have been great is if they would let us have a conversation with having to talk over the loudest music. We’re just yelling at each other at this point.

Makenna & Cam are the most charismatic, charming & tentative servers I’ve encountered this side of the Rockies. Will be back every Friday, always.

Dropped by on a Sunday afternoon and was seated upstairs, which was great for families so we can be out of the way. Food and service were great. The only complaint is that there were no blinds, and some of us had to eat with sunglasses on.
Everything was incredible as every tap & barrel always is while still being affordable. We were welcomed immediately and given our choice of table. Sophie was an amazing server who took the time to get to know every customer at each table she had and was able to make suggestions perfect for us. I'll continue to recommend tap & barrel to anybody in the area

Tap & Barrel has a great happy hour menu with a decent amount of time on it (2-5:30 every day). This location is lovely with terrific staff. The sangrias are a good size drink. We strongly recommend getting the guac and chips. The gyoza was very tasty. My favourite is the ranchero bowl with chicken. Our friend had steak frites and was highly satisfied. They brought out a lovely donut dessert for him as it was his birthday. It was a sweet gesture but really overly sweet to eat. I wouldn't recommend ordering it. But super nice that they do that.
I went to the tap and barrel north shore and had no reaction with the gluten-free food (gf pizzas) I ordered. Unfortunately, when I went to this particular location at Olympic Village and ordered the gf pizza I broke out in rashes the very same night. Please if you have celiac do not come to this location. I don’t think the kitchen takes this very seriously.

Always love the bar here. Good food, cold beer, and if Boyd is working, cocktails and vibes are immaculate
