Tap & Barrel • Olympic Village

Dropped by on a Sunday afternoon and was seated upstairs, which was great for families so we can be out of the way. Food and service were great. The only complaint is that there were no blinds, and some of us had to eat with sunglasses on.

Tap & Barrel has a great happy hour menu with a decent amount of time on it (2-5:30 every day). This location is lovely with terrific staff. The sangrias are a good size drink. We strongly recommend getting the guac and chips. The gyoza was very tasty. My favourite is the ranchero bowl with chicken. Our friend had steak frites and was highly satisfied. They brought out a lovely donut dessert for him as it was his birthday. It was a sweet gesture but really overly sweet to eat. I wouldn't recommend ordering it. But super nice that they do that.

Chicken burger and wings were very good but burger was very greasy...our waitress was very friendly and nice. and the ambience was great.

Our group of 6 people very happy with Tap & Barrel, drinks, food and service were all excellent. The views over False Creek from the second floor group tables were fantastic. Thanks everyone.

The upstairs area we sat in was too cold for comfort on a very cold day. The holiday ambience was sadly lacking.

Food, wine and service were all great. It's a little loud for conversation and it would be nice to have quieter areas so I didn't need to shout.

I was upset with the lack of gluten free/celiac options.. anything that I picked they couldn't do because they didn't have a separate fryer or the didn't have a celiac oven.. I ended up having a burger with no fries and it cost me $40 with tip and everything. Considering I didn't even want a burger in the first place it was a big surprise to see that I'm spending that much.. the tap and barrel in Langley is much more accommodating for me. I won't be coming back to this location anytime soon

We had a Celebration of Life in the event room upstairs.
When we came to check the venue out they were very accommodating . Details were all worked out to our satisfaction.
On our day, I can't say enough about the staff. Everything was ready and they were very efficient, polite and friendly.
The food was fantastic.
All in all, I would highly recommend this venue for any kind of get together you may be planning.

It was ok. Nothing exceptional. Hostess was nice snd friendly. We were seated at a table in the middle of everything so the servers were constantly passing by close and it felt like we were with the people at the table next to us. Drinks were good. Appy came quick but then we waited a long time for our food. When we declined another round of drinks we were essentially ignored. I had to ask for the bill. Overall it was fine but underwhelming.

Lousy waiter. Didn't check on us. No personality. Girls at the desk were excellent. The noise level was awful. We couldn't even talk. Asked for hot water and it was luke warm. Sent it back and asked for it hot and again it was luke warm.

The team at Tap & Barrel OV always makes a visit here such a great experience. We had a couple adjustments to our reservation which they accommodated with ease. Great service and food! Highly recommend!

Our Service was top notch, Joy had great timing, and kept our drinks topped up. Some dishes were better than other, the Korean rice bowl was on par with a food court in a mall, the fish and chips and burgers looked ok. This was the perfect pub place I needed for a causal business dinner but for the price I felt the food could be better.

It's a great place on False Creek. I was there to celebrate a friend's birthday. We enjoyed our afternoon there.

Had a booking for 6 we arrived early and they were able to seat us. We got our food fast and it was hot and fresh.
