attended a retirement party, and the staff were so accommodating! Service with a smile, they were happy to chat with us and ensure we had the best experience. The food was delicious and warm. The space was clean and welcoming, we did wonder why all the spine of the books were faced away would have been nice to see the collection. Highly recommend Tap & Barrel for your next corporate function.

service was great and I love that they are pet friendly..
fried dill pickles are great, the wings were ok( have had better ), truffle pizza I had one piece and could not have another- the salt was overbearing ( maybe in the sauce )
the lettuce wraps were delicious
highly recommend this dog friendly joint...especially on a sunny day

Fantastic happy hour with good variety of food and beverage options. Love their wings, burgers and tots.
Excellent service, especially from Boyd. Regular midweek treat.

Dietary restrictions: Great lettuce wrap option on burger. Good confirmation of restrictions/allergies between wait staff and kitchen

We visited Tap & Barrel at Olympic Village in Vancouver for my birthday gathering, and it was an excellent choice! The location is top-notch, situated in one of the best areas of Vancouver. We were a group of 9 and went for dinner during Happy Hour at 9 pm.

The atmosphere was amazing, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. It’s also a fantastic spot to stop by for a drink and watch sports. I ordered the Chicken Pesto Pasta, which was absolutely delicious and came in a generous portion. For my drink, I had the Fat Tug IPA—easily one of the best beers I’ve ever had.

The servers were cheerful, professional, and made the experience even better. I highly recommend Tap & Barrel for lunch, dinner, or even just a quick bite and drink. A perfect place to celebrate or relax!

Are you kidding me?! My friend and I made the mistake of walking into this absolute disaster of a restaurant, and we were treated like dirt from the get-go.

First, the server decided to seat us upstairs, despite there being plenty of empty tables downstairs. But hey, who needs logic or common sense, right?

So, we trudge upstairs, only to be seated next to a group of obnoxious, loud-mouthed football fans who were screaming at the top of their lungs. We asked to be moved to a different table, since there were plenty of empty ones available. But no, the hostess decided to be a complete and utter jerk about it.

She basically told us to either deal with the noise or leave. Can you believe that?! The unmitigated gall of this place is staggering.

Needless to say, we will NEVER be back. The service is atrocious, the staff is rude and unprofessional, and the whole experience was a complete and utter disaster.

Avoid this dump at all costs. Trust me, you won't regret it. Giving one star because it won’t allow me to give zero.

🍻🔥 Tap & Barrel – Great Vibes, Drinks & Views Near Science World! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you’re looking for a lively bar with great drinks, good prices, and an unbeatable atmosphere, Tap & Barrel near Science World is a must-visit! 🍺🌆

The location is perfect—right by the water, with stunning views of False Creek and the city skyline. Whether you’re here for a casual drink, a weekend hangout, or a fun night out, the vibe is always on point.

The beer selection? Massive—lots of local and craft options. The food? Solid pub-style eats with great portions. And the prices? Surprisingly reasonable for the quality and location!

If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. Who’s up for a drink here soon? 🍻👇🏼

Came here for drinks. Atmosphere was nice. Watched some of the hockey on the televisions. Had a good time. Drinks were in the pricy side when compared to other places nearby. Might be the prime location that leads to this. Street parking costs less than using the nearby parkade. Probably why the street parking is more difficult to find an open spot. It’s a good chain experience. Would come back if we are in the area.

Parking: Street parking costs less than the nearby parkade. Worth doing a Quick Look for a spot in the street.
