Service was outstanding!!! Ordered a burger it was perfect along with hot fries. I wish I could remember our waitress because she busy but never missed a beat on serving us or other tables quickly plus with a smile!

Artem was our server and he did a great job. We had a chat with Cilene, a manager and she too was friendly and welcoming......Our party of 4 all had the Eggs Benny and all were great with the eggs cooked just right. Tap & Barrel is top notch.

The location was great: right in front of the water. The service quality was great. The food was good. I recommend this place!

The value here is the waterfront patio and proximity to Canada Place. Food is mediocre on par with fast casual chains. Stick with known drinks as featured cocktails are hit or miss. The servers are hard working and friendly. The patio is brilliant on a slinky day to people and landscape watch.

We had an amazing waterfront view as per our reservation request that they were able to accommodate! The service was very quick and the food delicious. We were a group of six and had no complaints! The pizza is highly recommended (had 4 different kinds!), and the fish and chips were very satisfying!

The staff were amazing. The food was a little cold. The English muffin was meh and forgettable which was too bad. We've been before and it's been great but this time just ok.

Our group of 7 enjoyed everything! Service was a little slow but it was a busy weeknight and that might be normal for Canada, as our lunch experience was relaxed as well. Poke bowl was delicious and fresh, Korean fried chicken bowl was spicy and yummy, fish and chips were crisp and tender. A water view would have been fun, reservations definitely recommended as there was a long walk-up line. Would go back!

Paul is was awesome! So friendly and on it. We got served right away with a reso and had a great table in the shade. Food was great!

The Tap and Barrel at the Convention Centre is awesome. We had a table outside close to the water and watching the Hello ferry and water planes was so much fun. We were 4 of us and thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and pizza from the Happy Hour menu. Our server was outstanding!

Great service went for happy hour had a few drinks. It was nice and sunny that day sat on the patio.

Great patio with arguably the best happy hour one can find in Downtown Vancouver. I forgot to take a picture but the falafel power bowl is really close to the picture they have on their website - props to the kitchen for presentation 😍 Neither my friend nor I are big drinkers, so we got a Diet Coke and the BIBI Bitter Aperitivo Spritz. Not sure if that influenced the service or if it was the intention, but we see our server refilling water for all the other tables except ours afterwards, and I couldn't even flag them down for a refill before the end of our meal, which was unfortunate. Would get the power bowl again- make sure you make reservations ahead of time as the line was crazy long when we were leaving!

My partner and I recently visited the Tap and Barrel on patio at the Convention center of Canada Day. Despite it being crazy busy, our server, Molly, was very attentive, the food was good and arrived promptly. Molly was also great at making sure the we and the other folks in her section had plenty of shade on a very hot and sunny day. Great job all!

The receptionist was not patient and didn't even tried to please me. Their online booking won't allow outdoor booking, so when I got there, I saw a shaded table was empty so I asked if we can sit there. The lady told me that was reserved (by how?). Then she went ahead talking on the radio and wouldn't answer my question. The waiter was very patient and nice however their food sucks except for the flatbread. The steak was bitter and burned. Not worth the money.
