Came in around 9:30pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was almost empty, maybe five people total. I put my backpack down at a table, but was told I couldn’t put my bag there until after paying and that I would be ‘assigned’ a table only once I ordered. The tone felt unusually strict and unnecessary given how quiet it was. The interaction felt unwelcoming, so I decided to leave.

The service was excellent, Lucy was very attentive from start to finish. The food was good; I would just recommend using a baguette for the torta ahogada so it’s more like a virote, and serving it in a deep plate. Everything else was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.
