Great set of sweets and fresh bread but very poor customer service.
The yellow hair lady working today as cash was super rude to me and behaved almost aggressive.

Today, I was met with a smiling cashier. She was very friendly. However I had several issues that came up which wasn't quite pleasant.
I understand it was busy but sitting outside, I had to come in multiple times to grab my orders of food. It was a bit frustrating because the items such as the sandwich and Shepard's pie was not marked at all sitting on the counter. Please ask your staff to at least label the food so the customer doesn't get confused. Secondly the Shepard's pie was a big let down. For $10 I was expecting a traditional piece of Shepard's pie it was far from it. For the size I got it was definitely $5 snack. Thirdly the person making the sandwiches didn't have the most pleasant demeanor. I know again it was busy, but there was a lack of communication from her as the food was placed on the counter.

They have the most delicious sweets that taste homemade. The atmosphere inside has never really attracted me to sit down because it doesn’t give a good feeling, but on the other hand, the staff always smile and are excellent. Still, I buy my sweets from them.

I've been there a few times because it's on my way to work. Both times I tried their pies. The first one, a raspberry apple crumble—if I remember correctly—was way too sweet and I didn't enjoy it much. But the second one, a peach pie, was to die for. It was one of the best pies I've ever had, not too sweet and perfectly baked.

After hopping off a 10 hour flight from Europe, we found this cafe. We loved the vegetarian soup choice they had (Cheddar & Broccoli) and the friendly staff.

We decided that this would be our go to eating place and came back two more times while staying in Vancouver for the week.

The food was reasonably priced and in walking distance from our accommodation.

We needed to meet some people who lived nearby. Our friend who also lived in the same area suggested this cafe to us.

It appeared to be quite a popular spots. People kept coming in and out. Food and drink are decent, but seatings might be a bit too small if you needed a longer stay.

Their cakes looked great and I was not even a cake person. They sold cakes by slices and I asked if I could buy the whole cake. They did not normally do that, but figured out a price for me.

The chocolate cake tasted amazing, but was a bit too heavy for me. I wished they had a small version.

Got a takeway chicken salad sandwich to eat in the park in the sun. I also got the iced peanut butter mocha which gave me a new lease on life. This is a must try!

Very good food and coffee. Myself and my boyfriend live this place. The best egg salad sandwich on fresh bread with lots of green and tomato. The muffins are too die for and the price is very reasonable. Would recommend to everyone.

Mixed feelings about this place…it was our neighborhood go to place for pastries but we often feel rushed and the atmosphere does not feel relaxed, in part due to the small space and the staff. Outdoor space is nice in the warmer days but finding a relaxed place to sit in the neighborhood and enjoy a treat, I would go to other places in the neighborhood.
