Tasty Indian Bistro | Yaletown

I went for my bday dinner and such a great time. The food was amazing and this service from our waitress was perfect. Deffo would recommend:)

The food at Tasty was exceptional - definitely one of the best Indian food I had eaten in my 25+ years in N America. I would definitely come back to Tasty whenever I visit Vancouver. The only issue we found was that the staff hurried us along, making it hard to sit back and enjoy our meals. We went there 3 times during our visit to Vancouver, and each time, we found the whole prodding us to finish our current course and either order the next course or pay up and leave attitude awkward and uncomfortable. The last time we were there, we were even brought our bills even as we were still getting through our desserts. The next time, we will probably order takeout and enjoy the meal at our own pace instead of going into the restaurant to eat.

Food was extraordinary, Service was confused, forgot things. Too many Service people taking care of wach table. Atmosphere very nice

What's not to like. Somehow seems like Indian Persian fusion.

The food was amazing, the best Dal Makhni and Paneer Tikka Masala.
In appetizers, we had tasty momos, Spicy Soya Chaap, and Butter Sauce Pasta !
Our Host Nikita was the best ! She made our dinner way way better, her energy was on another level !

Nice atmosphere with some unique cocktails. They had a variety of good spirits and wines too. Aldo was a great guy behind the bar with his craft and personalized service. Food is also quite nice - sharabi murgh achari & seekh kebab.

Wonderful Authentic Indian Cuisine with a creative flair. Very best quality and service. It's so good delicious Lamb Curry Yummmmmy as we are very well traveled.

Food and ambience was amazing. $200 bill for 5 people, service charge included. Staff was pretty nice and sweet.

I ordered chicken biryani via delivery app, and it was very salty and oily and small portion in compared with the high price. I am very dissatisfied

I ordered from them via one of delivery platform and the chicken tikka rice bowl was tasty but the quantity was little and the price was high. Also the pistachio sponge cake was tasty but the quantity was very little and the price was very high. I am not satisfied with quantity and the price. I strongly demand that you rather reduce the price or increase the quantity

The 3 Tasty Indian Bistro restaurants are arguably the best North Indian dining experience in BC, perhaps all of Canada. I think most Indians would prefer the food at the Delta & Abbotsford locations as it seems as if the taste and menu at the Yaletown location differs to cater to a wider demographic. However, despite it being the “worst” of the Tasty restaurants, it is still by far the best Indian restaurant in Vancouver. I don't think you can go wrong with Tasty.

Food overall was pretty good although definitely modified for more western tastes (for example, broad use of chicken breast over thigh, and their "medium" spice was definitely more "mild" to our tastes). Service - not so much. Found a piece of wrapper attached to the naan in the starter we ordered. Server has apologetic and took it off our bill, so that was well appreciated, but not a great start. Later, I ordered a second beer towards the end of the meal. It never came. Server was shocked that it didn't later, but it had already been too long and we were done eating, so I just cancelled the beer. Later, when I came out from using the washroom before leaving, I noticed it sitting on the bar counter - it had been poured but never delivered. Can't believe the staff were that disorganized on a random Thursday evening. Restaurant was not busy at all.
