Good value. Like veg options. Food okay, with a few tweaks could be better. Like undercook beans as they'll continue cooking on the steam table, and add more soy sauce to noodles.

Use to be a go to spot when I was a kid. Now theyre super cheap on portions that are undercooked. Save your money and go elsewhere!

I be been coming here for years. The last 2 times have been terrible. Dried sweet and sour Didn’t have any flavour. More onions than meat. Ginger beef was so chewy you couldn’t eat it. Won’t be going back

Tasty Wok is one of the most depressing fast food style chinese food you can possible get in the lower mainland. everything is cold and disgusting, your stomach will genuinely hurt after eating, i have tried it 5-6 times over the past 4 years, always terrible.

I actually don't mind the food here too bad, if you get it fresh. You might get old stuff, you never really know. Staff seems nice for the most part.
They need to settle the ef down with the huge chunks of under cooked onion in the sweet and sour pork though. Absolutely ridiculous amount of gross onion. At least cut the chunks smaller so they have a chance to cook properly. I pay for sweet and sour pork, not sweet and sour onion. I swear, they keep adding more onion to this recipe, so gross.
Portions and price are pretty fair, but ditch the onion!!!

Do not order beef and broccoli as all you will get is Broccoli and be truly disappointed !!!
Nothing but veggies and leaving you ripped off !

Atmosphere: The place is rather gloomy and depressing.
Service: The young people serving looked rather disinterested, but were quite polite while serving.
Food: Atrocious. It seems fine and quite appealing when you're looking at it, the portions are big, and the prices are not too bad. However, every single dish tastes the same - bland or tasteless. You'll get more culinary joy from chewing on a piece of cardboard. The kitchen staff (who don't deserve to be called 'chef') clearly don't know what they're doing. I've tried around 50 places with Chinese food across Metro Vancouver (including many food courts) and this one is, by far, the worst EVER.
(Hard pass)

This used to be a good Chinese take out when it was run by the older couple. Now, food is always cold and sometimes taste like a day old. Tried their deep fried squid and my jaw hurt. It was so super chewy. I don't know if they recooked the food that didn't sell the previous day.
I am so upset that I have to put this review out but I have to warn others. I picked up take out last night for dinner and it gave my mum and I food poisoning!!!
This place is a community service. It's so much food for such a reasonable price, we've all eaten here. The people are so nice and I'd rather eat here than dumb Subway. At least they're local and part of our neighbourhood.
Is it the best chinese food you've ever had? of course not, it's a hot bar in a mall, don't be ridiculous. It's bang for your buck food. It's 2 full servings for $12.
When fresh, the salt and pepper fish is REALLY good. The lemon chicken (no sauce) is always good. The rice/noodles are totally bland, but whatever, that's what soy sauce and chili sauce are for.

Disappointing. Food is really bad, service is bad. Something happened over the time maybe new staff or owners but it is not same as it was.

I was standing in line for a take out while the gentleman at the register was speaking to someone for a good 6 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. There were 2 young ladies at the counter without the slightest care about taking my order.
I asked the gentleman if I could interrupt their important conversation to order something. I was pointed to the young ladies and was told to order over there.
I am all for supporting my local businesses in my community, but this experience will make me drive further away from home to other Chinese food places where I am treated slightly better as a customer.
