Do not order beef and broccoli as all you will get is Broccoli and be truly disappointed !!!
Nothing but veggies and leaving you ripped off !

Atmosphere: The place is rather gloomy and depressing.
Service: The young people serving looked rather disinterested, but were quite polite while serving.
Food: Atrocious. It seems fine and quite appealing when you're looking at it, the portions are big, and the prices are not too bad. However, every single dish tastes the same - bland or tasteless. You'll get more culinary joy from chewing on a piece of cardboard. The kitchen staff (who don't deserve to be called 'chef') clearly don't know what they're doing. I've tried around 50 places with Chinese food across Metro Vancouver (including many food courts) and this one is, by far, the worst EVER.

This used to be a good Chinese take out when it was run by the older couple. Now, food is always cold and sometimes taste like a day old. Tried their deep fried squid and my jaw hurt. It was so super chewy. I don't know if they recooked the food that didn't sell the previous day.
I am so upset that I have to put this review out but I have to warn others. I picked up take out last night for dinner and it gave my mum and I food poisoning!!!
This place is a community service. It's so much food for such a reasonable price, we've all eaten here. The people are so nice and I'd rather eat here than dumb Subway. At least they're local and part of our neighbourhood.
Is it the best chinese food you've ever had? of course not, it's a hot bar in a mall, don't be ridiculous. It's bang for your buck food. It's 2 full servings for $12.
When fresh, the salt and pepper fish is REALLY good. The lemon chicken (no sauce) is always good. The rice/noodles are totally bland, but whatever, that's what soy sauce and chili sauce are for.

Disappointing. Food is really bad, service is bad. Something happened over the time maybe new staff or owners but it is not same as it was.

I was standing in line for a take out while the gentleman at the register was speaking to someone for a good 6 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. There were 2 young ladies at the counter without the slightest care about taking my order.
I asked the gentleman if I could interrupt their important conversation to order something. I was pointed to the young ladies and was told to order over there.
I am all for supporting my local businesses in my community, but this experience will make me drive further away from home to other Chinese food places where I am treated slightly better as a customer.
Delicious

Do NOT bother asking the staff anything. The moment you do, you’ll be treated like an inconvenience. When I asked a simple question about the food, the staff’s faces twisted with annoyance, they turned away, and started gossiping to each other right in front of me. One female staff member even dumped the question on a male staff member, whose body language and expression made it painfully obvious he was irritated. This level of rudeness is shocking and completely unacceptable in any business.
On top of that, beware of their so-called “discounted” food at closing. It’s nothing but garbage. The fried items I bought were so hard and rubbery that I thought I would actually break a tooth. I had to throw them straight in the trash. Selling food in that condition is not only disrespectful to customers, it’s downright dishonest.
Avoid this place if you expect even a shred of basic customer service or edible food.

After a long day, this is the kind of place that instantly lifts your mood. Super friendly staff, tasty and healthy vegetarian options, big portions, and prices that don't hurt your wallet. Honestly, Champlain heights best kept secret! 😉

Ordered 2 combo sets which included sweet and sour pork...except it is 90% veges. Noodles are bland with no flavor and everything tastes stale.
