Really delicious!! The meat was so tender and the broth very flavourful. There was a tent and some tables set up, and it was wonderful to eat hot soup on a rainy day. Just a quick 5 minute walk up from the train station for a delicious lunch. :)))

Precious place! This was a special treat on a Wednesday night. So delicious! The perfect bowl of Okinawa soba, soba, melty pork belly and flavourful broth. I was so excited that I didn’t take a picture… yum!

Authentic and unique Japanese pop up noodle cart, located at the rear of the Japanese school. Follow socials for other pop up locations. Expect a wait to be seated. Not a lot of seating, but worth the wait. Soup broth was delicious. Staff and service were great. I went on a relatively cold day, so it was a bit chilly dining outdoors. But a delicious bowl of hot soba noodles solved that. Gochisosama deshita! Otanjoubi omedetou, Tatchan.

We went yesterday before 6 pm and didn’t have to wait too long. The food was excellent and service was very friendly. Highly recommended. You are eating outside and there’s a large awning to protect you from elements, but no heater.

It's been over 2 hours since I finished my Okinawa Soba at Tatchan and my belly is still very very happy. It's been somewhat of a ritual to have a quick lunch with my dad to try out different places after our weekly grocery shopping. Today, I decided to try out Tatchan after confirming their opening hours on Instagram. I had come to the stand 6 months but I mis-read the opening hours so I was thinking about lunch the whole time during our grocery runs. They opened for lunch today from 1200 to 1400. We arrived shortly after 1230 and waited for only 10-15 minutes for 2 seats. We both had the Okinawa Soba. The flavour of the soup base was balanced perfectly. The soba had a great consistency almost like ramen and I'm very glad that Okinawa soba is not made with buckwheat. It's a personal preference that I don't enjoy regular soba made with buckwheat. The pork belly was sinfully and heavenly tender with a salivating amount of fat.It was a perfect lunch on a rainy day and I need to try the So-Ki Soba with soft pork bone next time!

Osaka style ramen was very interesting. It was good but not my preference. Noodles were a bit too tough for me.This place is outdoors. Sort of like a food truck with tables.

Great place for a quick ramen. Unique set up, feels like you are in Japan. My first time trying this place tonight, so decided to order Tatchan combo: Broth is light and meat just melts in your mouth! Highly recommend if you want a different kind of ramen and I will definitely be back :)

Really cool experience! I think the set-up is so unique for Vancouver, yet it makes so much sense that something like this exists here. The server is really friendly!Food is decent, nothing to write home about. It’s more about the experience and trying something new! Be ready to wait in line as there’s very little seating. Prices were a bit higher than I expected for the location.
it’s a unique atmosphere - so you travel out of North America for a meal :)

This place is amazing and reminded me so much of being in Asia eating on the street in plastic tents. The food is absolutely worth waiting for even if all the seats are full. I will be returning as soon as possible

The noodles are the flatter type and are chewy. Soup and meat has a sweeter note than other noodles, overall is very good. Cosy environment too but seats are limited, so come early!

These noodles were so good my brain couldn't even understand how to spell noodles backwards because who cares about spelling when you have noodles like this.
